Simple Outdoor Mobile Toilet

Admin 20 de septiembre de 2026

A simple outdoor mobile toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole, providing temporary toilet services to the public. It is suitable for various locations and comes in multiple types with numerous advantages.

I. Suitable Locations
Simple outdoor mobile toilets are suitable for stations, docks, tourist attractions, villa areas, newly built residential communities, large construction sites, squares, and bustling commercial streets. These locations often have temporary or periodic toilet needs. Mobile toilets can be flexibly deployed to make up for the insufficient number or unreasonable layout of fixed public toilets. For example, tourist attractions can dynamically adjust the toilet positions according to tourist traffic, and large construction sites can provide convenient sanitation facilities for workers.

II. Structural Composition
Mobile toilets are generally composed of fecal sewage storage tanks (or disposal devices), floor slabs, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tanks, roofs, and mobile devices. In terms of materials, wood was used in the early days, which had problems such as simple construction and easy absorption of odors. Modern mobile toilets mostly use materials like fiberglass and polyethylene, which are waterproof, corrosion-resistant, and durable. For example, some customized restrooms in tourist attractions use waterproof and flame-retardant metal carved panels, steel integrated doors, external walls with ridged roofs covered with waterproof asphalt shingles, and galvanized square steel frames, which are both aesthetically pleasing and practical.

III. Type Classification

  1. By structural form: They are divided into single-structure mobile toilets (independent units) and composite-structure mobile toilets (multi-unit combinations).
  2. By mobility method: They include lifting and handling types (requiring manual or mechanical handling) and powered towing types (which can be towed by vehicles).
  3. By sewage treatment method: They are classified as water-flush types (requiring a water connection), waterless suction types (relying on vacuum suction), recirculating water-flush types (where sewage is purified and reused), and dry-pack types (where feces are collected and treated centrally). For example, a two-squat-position mobile toilet may use dry-pack technology to reduce water consumption.

IV. Core Advantages
Mobile toilets are movable, combinable, and easy to transport, enabling them to quickly respond to temporary needs. Their design follows the principles of mobility, cost-effectiveness, durability, and environmental protection. The overall structure is lightweight yet sturdy, the materials are corrosion-resistant, and the mobile devices are well-equipped. For example, a scenic area restroom occupying less than 6 square meters achieves efficient space utilization through modular design while meeting safety requirements such as waterproofing and flame retardancy.

V. Design Principles
When designing, factors such as lightweight and durable materials (e.g., galvanized steel frames and high-density panels), structural stability, height and width control (for ease of transportation), and the rationality of mobile devices (such as wheeled or towing structures) should be considered. In addition, attention should be paid to environmental performance, such as using recirculating water-flush technology to reduce sewage discharge or dry-pack technology to avoid soil pollution.
