Simple Mobile Toilet Design

Admin 05 de octubre de 2026

Simple mobile toilets can be designed and made using water storage barrels or water storage tanks and pallets. Here are the specific plans:

Design Using Water Storage Barrels

  1. Basic Structure Construction: Use an angle grinder to split the water storage barrel in half lengthwise. Fix universal wheels at the four corners of a wooden board for mobility. Attach wooden strips and self-tapping screws to the upper side of the barrel to increase its height. Cut an opening on the side of the barrel, install sponge strips to form a door frame, and insert plastic soft boards to create raised walls. Place the upper half of the barrel on top of the wooden strips as the roof.
  2. Drainage and Water Storage Device Setup: Drill a hole at the bottom of the barrel and install a drain pipe to form a floor drain. Drill another hole on the side to connect a direct joint and place a plastic bucket as a small water storage device.
  3. Sanitary Facility Installation: Install a bath heater made of water pipes. Install a tee joint below the water inlet pipe and connect a showerhead. Place a toilet and install a water tank, securing it with glass glue. Connect the drain pipe to the sewage bucket. Horizontally connect a water pipe to the tee joint of the outlet pipe and extend it to the door as the water inlet pipe for the sink. Install a hose and drill a hole in the door to install a connector.

Design Using Water Storage Tanks and Pallets

  1. Mobility and Tank Processing: Fix universal wheels at the four corners of the bottom of a plastic pallet. Place a water storage tank retrieved from a garbage station on the pallet. Use an angle grinder to cut along the marked line on the top of the tank to remove the top part, creating an open tank. Invert another open-top water storage tank and stack it on the first one, securing the outer frames of the two tanks with self-tapping screws.
  2. Doorway and Drainage Setup: Cut a rectangular opening with a height of 180 cm and a width of 50 cm on the outer frame of the water storage tank as the doorway, and cut the tank body accordingly. Use a hole-opening tool to drill a hole on the internal floor of the tank. Insert a elbow from the bottom upwards, cut in a water pipe, and seal the gaps with glue. Cut off the excess water pipe.
  3. Sanitary Facility Installation: Align the toilet with the drain hole and secure it with glue around the toilet. Fix a water pipe on the wall clip, install a faucet, and secure a pipe cap with screws at the bottom. Connect the water pipe and drill a hole at the bottom as the outlet for the drain pipe. Drill a hole in the pipe cap, apply glass glue, and fix a sink made of a stainless steel basin. Connect the water inlet pipe to the toilet water tank, connect the shower hose, install the shower bracket and toilet seat, and install a spray-type showerhead made of water pipes. Finally, fix hinges on the frame of the water storage tank, attach the other side of the hinges to a wooden box to form a door, and install a door handle.
