Simple Mobile Toilet Chassis Production
For the production of simple mobile toilet chassis, you can refer to the following two common methods:

Method 1: L4*L4 Angle Iron Frame with Intermediate Plywood Structure
This structure uses L4*L4 angle iron as the main frame, forming a rectangular support frame through welding or bolt connections. The L-shaped cross-section of the angle iron provides high bending and torsional load-bearing capacity, effectively distributing the overall weight of the toilet and dynamic loads during use. The intermediate plywood is typically made of density board or multi-layer board, with a recommended thickness of 12-18mm, and is fixed to the angle iron frame with self-tapping screws to form a flat installation base. The core advantage of this structure lies in the balance between load-bearing capacity and flatness: the angle iron frame provides structural strength, while the plywood eliminates the unevenness of the angle iron surface, facilitating subsequent floor adhesive铺设 (laying).
The floor adhesive should be made of non-slip PVC or rubber material, with a thickness of no less than 2mm, and adhered to the plywood surface with special adhesive. Its functions include:
- Non-slip: The surface texture design increases friction, reducing the risk of users slipping;
- Moisture-proof: It seals the pores on the plywood surface, preventing moisture from penetrating into the underlying structure;
- Easy to clean: The smooth surface facilitates quick cleaning of sewage and stains.
Method 2: 3mm Thick Checkered Steel Plate Structure
The checkered steel plate is formed with diamond or circular raised textures on its surface through a rolling process. A 3mm thick steel plate can meet the load-bearing requirements of mobile toilets while enhancing non-slip performance through the textures. When fabricating, pay special attention to the following details:
- Pressure relief hole design: Reserve one circular hole with a diameter of 50-80mm at each corner of the chassis, with the hole edge tilted 15 degrees outward from the box body. This design balances the internal and external air pressure differences caused by altitude changes or sealing during transportation, preventing deformation or sealing failure of the box body due to air pressure differences;
- Edge reinforcement: The steel plate edges need to be folded inward at a 90-degree angle to form a reinforcing edge, with a recommended height of 30-50mm, and fixed to the chassis body by welding to enhance the edge's impact resistance;
- Rust prevention treatment: The steel plate surface needs to be sandblasted for rust removal and then coated with anti-rust paint. It is recommended to use epoxy zinc-rich primer and polyurethane topcoat, with a total coating thickness of no less than 120μm, to adapt to outdoor humid environments.
The choice between the two structures should be based on the usage scenario: the angle iron frame with plywood structure has lower costs and simpler fabrication processes, suitable for light-duty mobile toilets; the checkered steel plate structure has higher load-bearing capacity and greater durability but requires additional rust prevention and pressure relief treatments, making it more suitable for heavy-duty or long-term outdoor use scenarios.
