Shuozhou Mobile Ecological Toilet Project

Admin 27 de septiembre de 2026

The Shuozhou Mobile Ecological Toilet Project is supplied with products by Cangzhou Hengtai Sanitation Equipment Co., Ltd., primarily utilizing Hengtai-branded mobile toilets (ecological and environmentally friendly public restrooms), with models including htcs-530 and htcs-528.

Product Features

  1. Specifications and Materials: The toilet dimensions are 1200×1500×3000 millimeters, with the main body constructed from materials such as color-coated steel plates, metal carved panels, anti-corrosion wood, and aluminum-plastic panels, ensuring both durability and aesthetic appeal.
  2. Environmental Adaptability: The toilets are suitable for temperatures ranging from -30℃ to 40℃, enabling them to withstand the extreme cold of winter and the intense heat of summer in the Shuozhou region.
  3. Biodegradation Technology: The core treatment process relies on microbial communities:
    • Organic Matter Decomposition: When feces and urine are mixed with microorganisms and carriers, hydrolytic bacteria release high-protein enzymes that break down organic matter into small molecules such as sugars, fatty acids, and amino acids. Acid-producing bacteria further convert these into organic acids, which are ultimately fully oxidized into water, carbon dioxide, and other inorganic substances through microbial metabolism.
    • Harmless Treatment: The moisture and gases produced during degradation are directly evaporated and discharged, while the small amount of residue, rich in organic matter, nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and trace elements, can be recycled as high-efficiency organic fertilizer. Meanwhile, microbial communities consume harmful bacteria such as Escherichia coli and parasite eggs, ensuring safety, hygiene, and harmlessness.

Overall Technical Characteristics of Ecological Public Restrooms

  1. Technology Type: Microbial degradation technology (aerobic/anaerobic) is employed, where excreta entering the biological chamber is decomposed by high-efficiency bacterial strains, achieving a high degree of reduction. The heat generated by biological reactions can reach 50–65℃, or even above 60–70℃, effectively killing pathogenic microorganisms.
  2. Resource Utilization: The decomposition products are primarily carbon dioxide, water, and a small amount of gas, with the residue being recyclable as organic fertilizer, realizing the transformation of excreta from waste to valuable resources.
  3. Structural Design: The restroom body adopts a well-insulated structure such as steel-frame cement composites, with some models integrating intelligent systems that provide air circulation, temperature control (e.g., heated toilet seats), and biological deodorization functions, enhancing the user experience.

Development Background and Application Significance

Ecological toilet technology originated in Japan in the late 1980s, initially featuring packaged, circulating water-flush, and composting types. Chinese companies have made breakthroughs in waterless biodegradable toilet technology, which offers excellent comprehensive performance and simple maintenance, making it suitable for high-altitude and water-scarce regions. During the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, this technology was widely applied, providing technical validation and a demonstration reference for the Shuozhou project.
