Shaanxi has made remarkable progress in the field of prefabricated assembled housing, achieving outstanding results in policies, projects, technologies, industrial development, and green building goals.

Policy Support: The General Office of the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government issued the "Implementation Opinions on Vigorously Developing Prefabricated Buildings," providing policy guidance and impetus for the development of prefabricated buildings. It clarifies the development direction and goals, creates a favorable policy environment, and promotes the active development of the industry.

Project Applications: The Qinxing Jiayuan Residential Community Project in the Qinhan New City of the Xixian New Area serves as a typical case. This project adopts prefabricated modular construction techniques, utilizing 36,545 prefabricated components. The main structures of all 12 buildings were capped within one year, achieving an assembly rate of 63%, marking a breakthrough in resettlement projects in the northwest region. This demonstrates that prefabricated building technology can effectively shorten construction periods, improve construction efficiency, and meet the demands of large-scale construction.

Technical Regulations: Shaanxi Province has compiled the "Technical Regulations for Low- and Multi-Story New Prefabricated Concrete Residential Buildings," covering aspects such as materials, design, production and transportation, construction and installation, and quality acceptance. This regulation provides comprehensive technical support for prefabricated buildings, ensuring that each link has standards to follow, safeguarding building quality and safety, and promoting the standardized development of technology.

Industrial Development: As of 2022, Shaanxi has established 33 large-scale production enterprises for prefabricated components and possesses five national prefabricated building industrial bases. The industrial scale continues to expand, with an increasing number of enterprises forming a relatively complete industrial chain that encompasses component production, design, and construction, providing a solid foundation for industrial development.

Green Building Goals: Shaanxi plans to ensure that all newly built urban buildings are green buildings by 2025, with the newly started prefabricated building area striving to account for 26% of the newly built building area. This reflects Shaanxi's emphasis on the integrated development of prefabricated buildings and green buildings, driving the construction industry towards a green and sustainable direction.
