Self-Modified Mobile Toilet

Admin 03 de octubre de 2026

You can refer to the following two methods for modifying a mobile toilet:

Modification Using a Water Storage Barrel

First, prepare a water storage barrel and use an angle grinder to split it in half. Fix universal wheels at the four corners of a wooden board to facilitate moving the toilet. Then, use wooden strips and self-tapping screws to fix them on the upper side of the barrel to increase the height and provide space for installing other components. Cut an opening on the side of the barrel, install a door frame and plastic soft panel to form a wall, providing some shelter and privacy protection. The upper half of the barrel can serve as a roof for rain protection. Cut a hole at the bottom of the barrel, install a drain pipe to form a floor drain for easy sewage discharge. Cut a hole on the side, connect the interface, and place a plastic barrel as a water storage device for storing flushing water. You can also make a simple bathroom heater with a water pipe, install a three-way connection for a showerhead to meet basic bathing needs. Finally, place the toilet and fix the water tank, connect the drain pipe to the sewage barrel to complete the entire modification process.

Modification Using a Water Storage Tank and a Pallet

First, fix universal wheels at the four corners of the bottom of a plastic pallet, and then place a water storage tank retrieved from a garbage station on the pallet. Use an angle grinder to cut along the marked line on the top of the water storage tank, remove one side to form an open tank. Place another open-top water storage tank upside down on the first one and fix the outer frame with self-tapping screws to enhance the structural stability. Cut a rectangular opening on the tank body as a doorway for easy access. Cut a hole in the interior floor, insert an elbow and a water pipe, and seal it to prevent water leakage. Install the toilet and fix it properly to ensure stability during use. Fix a water pipe at the wall fasteners, install a faucet, and make a stainless steel sink below and fix it to meet daily hand-washing needs. Connect the toilet tank inlet pipe and shower hose, install a showerhead bracket, toilet seat, and spray showerhead. Finally, make a door with wooden boards and hinges and install a door handle, and a simple mobile toilet modification is completed.
