Self-Contained Mobile Toilet

Admin 21 de septiembre de 2026

A self-contained mobile toilet is a toilet that can be moved as a whole, provides public restroom services, and comes with its own fecal treatment facilities.

I. Basic Components A self-contained mobile toilet typically consists of core components such as a fecal sewage storage tank (or disposal unit), flooring, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, a water tank, a roof, and a mobile unit. Some products integrate a septic system and adopt a “plug-and-play” design, eliminating the need for external water, electricity, or septic tanks. For example, a certain model measures 1.1 meters in length and width and 2.3 meters in height. It is made of polyethylene plastic and is equipped with an adjustable gender indicator, a foot-operated squat toilet, and a fecal tank located beneath the squat toilet for independent fecal collection.

II. Classification Methods

  1. Structural Form: Divided into single-unit structures (independent units) and composite structures (multi-unit combinations).
  2. Mobility Method: Includes lifting/handling types (requiring mechanical assistance for movement) and powered/trailer types (with built-in power or capable of being towed).
  3. Sewage Treatment Method:
    • Water-flush and waterless-flush suction types: Rely on a water tank for flushing or vacuum suction for fecal removal;
    • Recirculating water-flush types: Purify sewage through a filtration system for reuse;
    • Dry-pack types: Use biodegradable bags to collect feces, eliminating the need for water.

III. Application Scenarios Suitable for stations, docks, tourist attractions, villa areas, newly built residential areas, large construction sites, squares, and commercial streets, especially meeting the restroom needs of temporary or highly mobile populations. For example, outdoor scenic spots often deploy eco-friendly mobile toilets that balance environmental adaptability and hygiene standards; construction sites prioritize durable products to withstand complex environments.

IV. Market Status Product prices vary significantly depending on the manufacturer, specifications, and features. For example, a mobile toilet (including a fecal tank and shower room) at an outdoor scenic spot has a monthly rental price of 270 yuan, with sales reaching 8 units; a vehicle-mounted trailer-type mobile restroom is priced at 4,275 yuan, emphasizing mobility convenience. Consumers can choose appropriate models based on usage scenarios, budgets, and functional requirements.
