Scenic Area Intelligent Mobile Toilet
The scenic area intelligent mobile toilet is an intelligent facility designed to meet the temporary and periodic toilet needs in scenic spots and other venues. It integrates environmental protection, convenience, and comfort, serving as an upgraded version of traditional mobile toilets.

I. Functional Features The core advantage of the scenic area intelligent mobile toilet lies in its intelligent configuration. For example, some micro-intelligent public toilets are only 1.15 meters wide and 2.45 meters high, yet they integrate air conditioning, fresh air systems, intelligent lighting, intelligent disinfection, and sensor-based flushing systems. The air conditioning and fresh air systems can regulate temperature and humidity while maintaining fresh air. The intelligent lighting automatically adjusts brightness according to ambient light. The intelligent disinfection regularly sterilizes using ultraviolet light or spray devices. The sensor-based flushing achieves contactless flushing through infrared or microwave sensors, reducing the risk of bacterial transmission. Additionally, some toilets are equipped with emergency call buttons, USB charging ports, and other user-friendly designs to enhance the user experience.
II. Structure and Classification Mobile toilets are composed of modules such as fecal sewage storage tanks (or disposal devices), floor slabs, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tanks, roofs, and mobile devices. They can be classified by structural form as follows:
- Single-unit structure: Independent units suitable for scenarios with limited space or scattered layouts;
- Composite structure: Composed of multiple units, such as a 6-unit row design, to meet high foot traffic demands. They can be classified by mobility as follows:
- Lifting and handling type: Relies on lifting equipment or manual handling, suitable for short-term use;
- Powered and towed type: Equipped with axles or power systems, can be towed by vehicles or move independently, offering higher flexibility. They can be classified by sewage treatment method as follows:
- Water-flush and waterless suction type: The former relies on water tank supply for flushing, while the latter uses vacuum pumps to suction feces into storage tanks;
- Recirculating water-flush type: Utilizes biodegradation or membrane filtration technology to purify sewage, achieving water resource recycling;
- Dry packing type: Uses biodegradable plastic bags to collect feces, requiring no water, suitable for water-scarce areas.
III. Materials and Design To adapt to the scenic area environment, the materials of mobile toilets must balance durability and aesthetics. For example, some toilets use thickened galvanized square tube welded frames paired with carved panel exterior walls, which are both rust-resistant and visually appealing. The roofs use waterproof asphalt shingles to ensure long-term outdoor use without leakage. The internal configurations typically include squat toilets, washbasins, exhaust fans, and ceiling lights. Some high-end models also add barrier-free facilities, such as handrails and low-position washbasins, reflecting humanistic care.
