Scan Code Mobile Self-Service Toilet
Admin 08 de octubre de 2026
The scan code mobile self-service toilet has multiple application scenarios and unique design features.

In terms of application scenarios:
- Public areas such as tourist attractions and beaches: Taking the mobile public toilets in Fujian as an example, they are placed by the seaside. These areas have a high volume of foot traffic and a great demand for sanitation facilities, and traditional fixed public toilets may not be able to meet the needs. Mobile self-service toilets can be flexibly arranged and their positions adjusted according to the foot traffic in different seasons and time periods, providing convenient toilet services for tourists.
- Urban nighttime public areas: For example, the nighttime scan-to-open public toilets in Shanghai are located at the intersection of Pudong Century Avenue and Yanggao Middle Road. In cities, some fixed public toilets may be closed at night, but people who are out at night still have toilet needs. These mobile toilets operate in night mode, providing toilet facilities for nighttime passersby and solving the problem of difficulty in finding a toilet at night.
In terms of design features:
- Scan-to-pay and operation: The mobile public toilets in Fujian adopt a scan-to-pay model. Initially, the fee was 10 yuan, which was later changed to 2 yuan. After scanning the code, the toilet door automatically locks after 5 seconds. After paying the fee, a page pops up on the mobile phone with options of 'Open' and 'End Order'. Clicking 'Open' allows normal use of the toilet. This design not only facilitates user operation but also enables the management and maintenance of public toilets through charging fees.
- Countdown and overtime handling: The mobile phones in Fujian's mobile public toilets display a countdown on the screen. Users can renew the fee if they exceed the time limit or stop and end the order midway. The system of Shanghai's nighttime scan-to-open public toilets is set to automatically 'alarm' if a toilet user does not come out within 15 minutes, notifying the night shift staff to contact and inquire if an accident has occurred. The countdown design can prevent individuals from occupying the toilet for a long time and improve the toilet's usage efficiency.
- Multi-function integration: The mobile public toilets in Fujian are containers that integrate toilets, showers, and vending machines, meeting various needs of people in public areas. They not only provide toilet services but also allow users to take showers and purchase goods, increasing the practicality and convenience of public toilets.
