Rural Self-Made Mobile Toilet Design

Admin 12 de octubre de 2026

The following plans and key points can be referred to for rural self-made mobile toilet design:

I. Basic Structural Plans

  1. Water Storage Bucket Modification Plan
Utilize discarded water storage buckets as the main material. Split them in half lengthwise, fix wooden boards at the bottom, and install universal wheels to enable mobility. Increase the height of the bucket using wooden strips, create an opening on the side for installing a door frame and plastic soft panel walls, and use the upper half as the roof. A drainage pipe needs to be installed through a hole at the bottom of the bucket to form a floor drain, and interfaces should be reserved on the side for connecting equipment such as toilets, water tanks, bathroom heaters, and washbasins. This plan is cost-effective, but attention should be paid to waterproof sealing to prevent leakage.

  2. Water Storage Tank and Pallet Combination Plan
Use a water storage tank as the core, paired with a metal pallet as the bottom support structure, and fix universal wheels at the four corners of the pallet. This design simplifies the construction process, but it is necessary to ensure the firm connection between the water storage tank and the pallet and reserve pipe interfaces for subsequent functional expansion.

II. Key Points of Modular Design

  1. Structure and Materials
The main frame is made of metal materials (such as iron sheet 02 profiles) to provide structural support. The exterior is covered with color-coated steel plate trim, and the interior is filled with 5mm thick foam material for thermal insulation. The top and bottom adopt a separated design for easy transportation of individual parts and on-site assembly, which can be completed with simple tools.

  2. Functional Configuration
The standard size is 1100×1100mm in width and length and 2000mm in height, with a compact and practical interior space. It comes standard with plastic windows and metal locks, and the color-coated steel trim prevents sharp edges from being exposed. According to needs, a shower function can be added, and waterproof sealing design is used to prevent water stains from leaking out, forming a simple shower room.

III. Adaptability to Application Scenarios

  1. Scattered Residential Areas
The modular nature supports rapid deployment and is suitable for scattered residential areas in new rural reconstruction projects to meet temporary sanitation needs.

  2. Densely Populated Areas
Multiple units can be combined for use in outdoor construction sites or large-scale event venues, and the layout can be dynamically adjusted according to the flow of people to improve resource utilization.

  3. Technical Adaptability
A dry-wet separation design is adopted to separate wastewater from solid waste through drainage channels and sewage collection tanks, reducing the difficulty of cleaning. Regular maintenance of the sewage collection tanks is required to prevent odor accumulation.

IV. Finished Product Transportation Plan

The double-unit metal carved panel toilet adopts a finished product transportation mode, with a length of 2.56 meters. The washbasin is placed outside, equipped with an aluminum alloy single door, squat toilet, exhaust fan, and lighting. After being placed on site, it only needs to be connected to water and electricity for use, making it suitable for scenarios with high requirements for installation efficiency.
