Rural Prefabricated House Assembly

Admin 18 de septiembre de 2026

Rural prefabricated house assembly is a rural housing construction model that uses factory-prefabricated components assembled on-site, characterized by short construction periods, good earthquake resistance, and energy efficiency and environmental protection.

Construction Process

  1. Leveling the foundation and pouring the cushion layer: First, use an excavator to clear weeds and level the foundation. Surveyors ensure that the excavation depth and ground height meet design requirements. After excavating approximately 60 centimeters, lay white plastic sheeting and then use a concrete pump truck to pour the foundation. No steel reinforcement is used in the foundation. Laying white plastic sheeting in advance prevents moisture loss in the concrete, promotes hydration reactions, and enhances the strength and durability of the concrete.
  2. Installing foundation piles and assembling crossbeams: After the concrete sets, install footplates, drill holes with a drill, and secure them with expansion screws to fix the foundation piles to the cushion layer. After installing footplates in six directions, use a mobile crane to install prefabricated foundation piles, each weighing about 5 tons and having reserved holes at the four corners for easy lifting. Once the foundation piles are in place, assemble the crossbeams like building blocks, adjust them horizontally, secure them with nuts, and finally fill the gaps between the crossbeams and foundation piles with expanding foam and seal the nut fixtures with cement.
  3. Backfilling soil and pouring the foundation: After completing the foundation frame structure, begin backfilling soil. Subsequently, use prefabricated components for assembly, which can complete the main structure in 14 days. The crossbeams are quickly connected using mortise-and-tenon joints, stairs are lifted into place like building blocks, a 5-centimeter-thick floor slab is laid, and finally, all component gaps are grouted.

Application and Promotion

This model has been applied and promoted in many parts of China. For example, 29 households in Yuhuang Community, Fucheng District, Mianyang, Sichuan, have adopted light steel structure prefabricated rural houses; in 2024, Hebei Province launched a pilot application system for prefabricated rural houses through the "Yunongtong" APP; on June 14, 2024, Changsha City initiated a pilot project for prefabricated rural dilapidated house renovations. Many local governments have also issued relevant technical guidelines and atlases and provided financial incentives to promote its development.
