Waterless Flush Rural Mobile Toilet

Admin 08 de octubre de 2026

A waterless flush rural mobile toilet is an environmentally friendly toilet that can treat waste without the need for traditional water flushing. In China, it is often referred to as an eco-friendly toilet, ecological toilet, or mobile toilet.

I. Working Principle
The waterless flush rural mobile toilet achieves waste treatment through biodegradation technology. Taking the "ecological toilet" promoted in Shaanxi as an example, it adopts a waterless flush design and is equipped with a composite microbial community inside. It can operate stably at a low temperature of 40°C. After the excreta enters the treatment system, the microorganisms convert the organic matter into harmless substances through decomposition. Meanwhile, the aerobic fermentation processor accelerates the decomposition process. In addition, the passive air extraction duct design effectively removes the odors generated during fermentation, ensuring that there is no odor inside the toilet.

II. Core Advantages

  1. Independence from Water Sources: The waterless flush design completely eliminates the dependence of traditional toilets on the water supply network, making it suitable for places without water and sewerage facilities, such as remote rural areas, mountainous regions, and temporary event venues.
  2. Environmentally Friendly and Efficient: Through biodegradation technology, excreta is converted into harmless substances, reducing environmental pollution and avoiding potential groundwater pollution caused by sewage discharge from traditional toilets.
  3. Strong Adaptability: The composite microbial community can operate stably at low temperatures, ensuring the normal use of the toilet under different climatic conditions. In addition, its modular design facilitates transportation and installation, allowing for rapid deployment in various scenarios.

III. Technical Specifications
The waterless flush rural mobile toilet must comply with the GB/T18092 - 2000 "Waterless Flush Sanitary Toilet" standard, which sets out clear requirements for the structure, materials, and performance of the toilet to ensure its safety, hygiene, and durability. For example, the toilet should have good airtightness to prevent odor leakage; the treatment system should be efficient and stable to ensure complete degradation of excreta.

IV. Application Scenarios
Due to its water-free and environmentally friendly features, the waterless flush rural mobile toilet is widely used in places without water and sewerage facilities, such as rural public toilets, tourist attractions, construction sites, and temporary event venues. Its flexibility and adaptability make it an important solution for addressing toilet problems in remote areas.
