Dimensions of Rural Mobile Toilets

Admin 21 de septiembre de 2026

The dimensions of rural mobile toilets vary depending on the type and requirements, with common specifications as follows:

Single-person mobile toilets are one of the most widely used types in rural areas, with their dimensions designed to balance space utilization and user comfort. The external dimensions of a standard single-person mobile toilet are typically 110cm in length, 110cm in width, and 230cm in height, with internal clear dimensions of approximately 90cm in length, 90cm in width, and 210cm in height, sufficient for the normal activities of one adult. For further space savings, the mini single-person model can be reduced to 100cm in length, 100cm in width, and 220cm in height, although the internal activity space will be correspondingly reduced, making it suitable for areas with low foot traffic.

Double-person mobile toilets are suitable for families or small public places, with dimensions designed to accommodate two people using them simultaneously. A common specification is 180cm in length, 110cm in width, and 230cm in height, with the internal space divided into independent usage areas through reasonable layout to avoid cross-interference. The width of this type of toilet is increased by about 30% compared to the single-person model, but the length is kept relatively compact to balance floor space and functionality.

Barrier-free mobile toilets are specifically designed for people with mobility impairments, with dimensions that meet barrier-free facility standards. Their external dimensions are typically 180cm in length, 150cm in width, and 240cm in height, with an internal clear width of at least 140cm, and equipped with auxiliary facilities such as handrails and low-positioned handwashing basins. The increase in height by 10cm improves internal ventilation and provides sufficient space for wheelchair rotation, ensuring safety and convenience in use.

Other specifications of mobile toilets are customized according to specific needs, with some manufacturers offering modular designs such as 1.3m×1.3m×2.35m or 1.1m×1.1m×2.35m. The former is suitable for medium-sized public places, while the latter is mostly used for temporary events or emergency scenarios. These toilets offer high flexibility in dimensions, but attention should be paid to whether the internal facility layout is reasonable to avoid affecting the user experience due to cramped space.

It should be noted that the selection of mobile toilet dimensions should comprehensively consider the usage scenario, foot traffic, and transportation conditions. For example, in rural areas with narrow roads, models with a width of less than 1.2m should be prioritized; while in tourist attractions with high foot traffic during peak periods, larger internal spaces should be reserved to reduce queuing times. Additionally, some mobile toilets adopt foldable or modular designs, allowing for compressed dimensions during transportation and restoration to standard specifications after installation, further enhancing their applicability.
