Paving on Prefabricated Panels of House Roofs

Admin 18 de septiembre de 2026

The materials paved on the prefabricated panels of house roofs need to be judged according to specific circumstances, as different materials have different requirements for the load-bearing capacity of the prefabricated panels.

Paving Floor Tiles

Prefabricated panels that have been in use for 30 years can withstand the renovation of paving floor tiles. These panels have a certain load-bearing capacity, with a basic capacity of several hundred kilograms. Under normal circumstances, the additional load from paving floor tiles is within the load-bearing range of the prefabricated panels and generally does not pose hidden dangers or cause damage. This is because floor tiles themselves are relatively light in weight, and the adhesive materials used during the paving process do not exert excessive pressure on the prefabricated panels. However, when paving floor tiles, attention should also be paid to the standardization of construction to ensure firm adhesion and avoid problems such as hollowing, which could affect the prefabricated panels due to uneven local stress during use.

Paving 20-Centimeter Concrete

Theoretically, the roof of a prefabricated panel building can withstand a certain degree of increased load, but paving 20 centimeters of concrete requires careful consideration. Generally, the load that a building roof can bear is 200 - 300 kg/m², while 20 centimeters of concrete is relatively heavy, with a load per square meter reaching up to 2 t/m². This seriously exceeds the load-bearing capacity of the prefabricated panels. If forced paving is carried out, it may lead to serious problems such as cracks, deformation, or even breakage of the prefabricated panels, affecting the structural safety of the building. If it is indeed necessary to pave 20 centimeters of concrete on the prefabricated panel roof, strict structural calculations and reinforcement measures must be carried out. For example, reinforce the support rods by increasing their quantity and strength to improve the support capacity of the prefabricated panels; enlarge the cross-section of the concrete columns to enable them to better bear the upper loads; install new horizontal and vertical steel bars to enhance the overall integrity and stability of the structure, thereby improving the load-bearing capacity of the prefabricated panels and ensuring the structural safety of the building after concrete paving.
