Roadside Mobile Toilet

Admin 21 de septiembre de 2026

A roadside mobile toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole and provides toilet services to the public. It is suitable for places such as highways and comes in various structural forms, mobility methods, and sewage treatment approaches.

Suitable Locations

Roadside mobile toilets are suitable for stations, docks, tourist attractions, densely populated public places, and highways. In highway scenarios, whether for permanent or temporary needs, they can serve their purpose. For example, the Tibet highway has ordered mobile dry toilets to meet the toilet needs of passing travelers.

Composition Structure

Mobile toilets generally consist of multiple parts. The fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device) is used to collect and treat fecal sewage; the floor provides a flat surface for users to stand and move around; sanitary ware is the equipment directly used during toilet use; walls serve to separate and protect privacy; washing equipment facilitates user cleaning; the water tank supplies water for flushing and other operations; the roof provides shelter from wind and rain; and the mobility device enables the toilet to be moved as a whole.

Classification

  • By structural form: They can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. The single structure is relatively simple and independent, while the composite structure may be composed of multiple parts and may have more complex and diverse functions.
  • By mobility method: They are classified into lifting and handling mobile toilets and powered and towed mobile toilets. Lifting and handling types may require lifting equipment for movement; powered and towed types can be moved by their own power or by being towed by other vehicles.
  • By sewage treatment method: They are divided into water-flush and waterless suction mobile toilets, circulating water-flush mobile toilets, and dry-packing mobile toilets. Water-flush types use water for flushing and cleaning; waterless suction types treat feces through suction; circulating water-flush types recycle water; and dry-packing types package feces in a dry form.

Advantages

Roadside mobile toilets can be conveniently transported to any location where a toilet needs to be set up and can be used repeatedly. They have the advantages of mobility, combinability, and ease of transportation, effectively solving toilet problems in specific locations.
