How to Use Rental Mobile Toilets

Admin 07 de octubre de 2026

The use of rented mobile toilets requires standardized operations in three stages: before rental, during use, and after use. Details are as follows:

Before Rental: Clarify Needs, Select Compliant Suppliers, and Choose Sites Scientifically

  1. Clarify Usage Scenarios and Needs: Determine the number of toilet stalls based on the scale of the event (e.g., 4-6 stalls for 100 people), and select the type according to site conditions (e.g., flatness, ease of water and electricity access). For example, standalone single toilets are suitable for construction sites and temporary parking lots where space is ample and water and electricity access is inconvenient; vehicle-mounted mobile toilets are ideal for large-scale music festivals and marathons that require centralized setup and high foot traffic; simple squat toilets with barriers are suitable for short-term (1-3 days) work environments with low hygiene requirements.
  2. Select Compliant Suppliers: Be sure to contact enterprises holding relevant licenses. You can check the list of qualified service providers through local construction material networks or government platforms to avoid subsequent disputes caused by supplier qualification issues.
  3. Choose Sites Scientifically: Select areas with higher elevation and smooth drainage, away from low-lying areas prone to water accumulation. Also, consider the movement patterns of the event attendees to avoid placing toilets in overly remote locations that affect usage, and keep them away from fire sources or electrical facilities (with a distance of ≥1.5 meters). Construction sites should maintain a safe distance from work areas to prevent equipment collision damage.

During Use: Prioritize Maintenance, Safety, and Personnel Compliance

  1. Daily Maintenance: Do not pour leftovers, cigarette butts, construction waste, or other debris into the toilets. You can post a 'No Dumping' sign at the entrance. Check the flushing system every 4 hours and contact maintenance immediately if a blockage is found. In winter, install anti-freezing devices, and it is recommended to stop using and empty the water tank when the temperature is below 0°C. Additionally, ensure good ventilation inside and outside the toilets, clean them at least once a day, replace garbage bags promptly, check for drainage blockages on rainy days, and increase disinfection frequency in hot weather.
  2. Safety and Emergency Response: Equip one fire extinguisher for every 5 toilet stalls and keep them away from fire sources and electrical sources. Keep emergency exits clear, arrange for dedicated personnel to guide usage at the event site to avoid crowding and trampling, and post emergency contact numbers. For nighttime rentals, provide emergency lighting. In extreme weather, build simple rain shelters during the rainy season, check for water tank freezing in cold weather, and reinforce fixtures in windy weather.
  3. Personnel Usage Compliance: The rental party should post usage instructions in prominent locations, including flushing methods and prohibited items. Avoid disposing of sharp objects or large amounts of liquid during use to prevent pipe blockages. Children should be accompanied by adults when using the toilets. Arrange for dedicated personnel to patrol during the event to handle unexpected issues promptly.

After Use: Standardize Settlement, Environmental Protection Disposal, and Site Restoration

Complete the inspection within 72 hours after the event, confirm that the facility integrity rate is ≥95%, issue an inspection certificate as proof of final payment, and the rental company should provide complete cleaning and disinfection records. Transport sewage to designated treatment stations and prohibit direct discharge. Collect hazardous waste such as batteries and light tubes separately and hand them over to professional agencies for disposal. Ensure that site greening is not damaged during facility disassembly and restore the ground to its original condition.
