Quality Acceptance Standards for Container House Construction
The 'Quality Acceptance Standards for Container House Construction' (T/CECSXXX-2024) serves as the core basis for quality acceptance of container houses in industrial and civil construction. Its content covers the entire process of materials, production, and installation, emphasizing quality traceability and safety control.

I. Scope of Application of the Standard
This standard applies to the quality inspection and acceptance of factory-produced container houses and must be implemented in conjunction with current national standards and standards of the China Association for Engineering Construction Standardization. The 'Quality Acceptance Standards for Container Houses' (T/CECS 1932-2025), which came into effect in October 2025, further fills industry gaps by specifying stricter technical requirements for quality issues such as fires (e.g., flammability of polyurethane sandwich panels) and structural collapses (e.g., insufficient steel plate thickness, substandard welds) caused by low technical thresholds and vicious competition.
II. Classification of Acceptance Content
- Material Quality Acceptance
Steel, accessories, and other materials must meet design requirements, such as steel plate thickness and welding material performance, which must pass testing to prevent structural safety hazards caused by inferior materials. - Factory Production Quality Acceptance
For the container house products themselves, focus is placed on inspecting welding quality, corrosion protection, structural dimensional deviations, etc. Production enterprises must establish testing departments, and testing equipment must be calibrated and qualified for use within its validity period to ensure controllable production processes. - On-site Engineering Quality Acceptance
This covers the integrity inspection of components after transportation to the site and the acceptance of the installation process, including foundation bearing capacity, connection node strength, roof waterproofing, etc. For example, the welding quality of steel structures must comply with the requirements for main structures in the 'Unified Standard for Constructional Quality Acceptance of Building Engineering' (GB50300-2013).
III. Basic Regulations and Control Requirements
- Acceptance should preferably refer to the BIM model used in the design to achieve digital control;
- Establish a quality traceability management system and implement a comprehensive quality management system from production to storage;
- Construction units or supervision units may send representatives to supervise production at the factory, and key process records must be confirmed by the on-site representative;
- Inspected and qualified components must be marked, and the quality of inspection lots is considered qualified if: the sampling of main control items is qualified, the pass rate of general items is ≥80%, and complete quality inspection records are available.
IV. Supplementary General Acceptance Dimensions
Although not specific to container houses, requirements from the 'Unified Standard for Constructional Quality Acceptance of Building Engineering' (GB50300-2013), such as those for foundations and substructures, waterproofing and thermal insulation, and decoration and finishing, can serve as supplements. For example, roof waterproofing must meet requirements for no leakage and smooth drainage; decoration and finishing materials must comply with environmental protection standards to avoid excessive levels of harmful substances such as formaldehyde.
