Qingdao School Portable Toilet
The portable toilets in Qingdao schools are set up to meet the needs of citizens for convenience during sports and fitness activities, featuring unique working principles, usage requirements, maintenance and management methods, as well as model characteristics.

Setting Background
This summer vacation, more than 600 primary and secondary schools in Qingdao have opened their outdoor sports venues to the public for free. To address the potential 'convenience' issues for citizens during this process, schools have installed portable toilets.
Working Principle and Characteristics
Steel-structured portable toilets employ solid-liquid separation technology, with microorganisms handling the分流 (diversion) of excreta. Solid excreta enters the fermentation tank through an automatically opening toilet bowl. Under the action of a screw propeller, it mixes with initial ingredients, sawdust, and biological strains, decomposing into carbon dioxide and water under automatic temperature control, with a decomposition rate of ≥99%. Urine enters the urine collection tank and, when full, is pumped into the aeration tank. After aeration, microorganisms consume the waste, decomposing feces and urine into water and carbon dioxide. The treated wastewater flows into the evaporation reaction tank, and after further treatment, the water is stored in a storage tank for flushing the toilet. The flushed wastewater then flows into a foreign object removal tank, forming a循环 (cycle).
Usage Requirements
When using the portable toilet, it is necessary to collect feces and urine separately to prevent urine from flowing into the feces storage tank. Toilet paper should be placed in the basket, and when full, it should be incinerated. Cigarette butts should be discarded into a designated ashtray. After defecation, ash such as plant ash, dry stove ash, fine sand, sawdust, or rice husks should be added, with the amount of ash being approximately 2-3 times that of the feces.
Maintenance and Management
Regular inspections of the ecological toilet equipment should be conducted to ensure normal operation. When purchasing ecological toilets, negotiations with the manufacturer regarding post-purchase toilet maintenance should be carried out to facilitate timely resolution of issues when they arise. At the same time, everyone is encouraged to cherish public facilities and jointly maintain a good usage environment for the portable toilets.
Model Characteristics
The campus smart toilet (D series) is specifically designed for schools, focusing on safety and health management. It features intelligent disinfection capabilities, automatically disinfecting the toilet bowl and washbasin before and after use to safeguard the health of users. Additionally, through an Internet of Things system connected to the campus management platform, it can monitor equipment operation status and consumable levels in real-time, facilitating timely maintenance by the logistics department and improving management efficiency.
