Prefabricated Wall for Houses
Admin 17 de septiembre de 2026
Common types of prefabricated walls for houses include cement prefabricated panel walls, prefabricated walls related to the assembled monolithic concrete shear wall system, and prefabricated fences. The following is a detailed introduction:

Cement Prefabricated Panel Walls
- Materials and Process: These walls are primarily made of Portland cement and steel reinforcement frames, prefabricated into panel shapes using molds.
- Types: They are divided into solid and hollow types. Hollow prefabricated panels can reduce weight and cost, featuring simple construction and lower costs.
- Specifications: The standard span is up to 4.2 meters, with widths commonly at 500mm or 600mm, and thicknesses mainly at 120mm and 150mm.
- Applications and Issues: They were initially widely used in brick-concrete structural buildings but faced issues such as poor thermal insulation, insufficient structural stability, weak load-bearing capacity, and cracking and leakage at panel joints. They are now prohibited in the construction field. However, prefabricated concrete wall panels, as one of the prefabricated building components, are still used in some projects.
Prefabricated Walls Related to the Assembled Monolithic Concrete Shear Wall System
- Installation Process: Transported to the site using specialized vehicles, the components should be stacked on a flat, hardened surface with drainage requirements. Components are stacked by model, with horizontal components not exceeding 6 layers in height. Mark wall lines and 200mm control lines on the poured floor slab, and 500mm horizontal control lines on the prefabricated walls. Adjust the reinforcement, measure the elevation, and attach sponge strips. Prevent horizontal forces on the walls from steel cables during the lifting of vertical components. After lifting to the corresponding position, lift the exterior walls first, then the interior walls. After descending to a certain height, check the alignment between the reinforcement and the wall voids before further lowering. Install steel supports upon reaching the base plate, then install T-shaped plates to prevent wall tilting. Adjust the wall perpendicularity with measuring personnel, secure the supports tightly, and unhook. Subsequent steps include installing prefabricated panels to enclose insulation boards, bottom grouting, node area construction, floor panel installation, and prefabricated stair installation.
Prefabricated Fences
- Materials and Process: Produced in factories using materials such as cement, magnesium chloride, perlite, and sand, these fences are assembled on-site using embedded parts, columns, and bottom beams to form a modular temporary enclosure structure. Wall panels are fixed using slots during installation.
- Specifications: Each wall panel is approximately 4.1m long and about 2.2m high. Wall panels come in two sizes: large panels are generally 3.6m long and about 6cm thick; small panels are 1.2m long and about 6cm thick. Columns are square prisms with a side length of 50cm.
- Advantages: They offer low construction costs, reusability, aesthetic appeal, short construction periods, high safety, environmental friendliness, immunity to weather conditions, and customizable personalized products.
- Applications: They have gradually replaced brick fences and color steel fences in Tianjin and surrounding areas, becoming the preferred temporary construction fences in various construction project fields.
