Bathroom in a Prefabricated Slab-Built House
Setting up a bathroom in a house built with prefabricated slabs can be achieved through methods such as using elevated cement prefabricated slabs, adopting integrated prefabricated bathrooms, adding a toilet on the prefabricated slabs, or building wall partitions on the prefabricated hollow slab floors. Details are as follows:

Elevated Cement Prefabricated Slabs: Practical cases have shown that red bricks for bottom support can be laid within a day, and then cement prefabricated slabs can be elevated on this foundation. This method can meet the requirements for setting up a bathroom to a certain extent and is relatively simple and quick in construction.
Integrated Prefabricated Bathrooms: Taking the Shijingshan District Pingguoyuan 632 public rental housing project as an example, the bathroom as a whole uses UHPC as the basic material for the main structure, integrating pipelines, finishes, and sanitary ware. The main structure is assembled with dovetail tenons and fixed with structural adhesives and metal connectors, forming an integrated bathroom skeleton with the internal partitions and the base, achieving overall integration of electromechanical pipelines, finishes, and sanitary ware in the factory. Before leaving the factory, an integrated waterproof base and wall panel design are completed and passed water leakage tests. Then, they are transported to the construction site for unified hoisting. This type of bathroom is assembled using dry construction methods and has advantages such as factory-standardized production, rapid installation, and water leakage prevention.
Adding a Toilet on the Prefabricated Slabs: Set up lightweight walls. Adding a lightweight wall on the prefabricated slabs is equivalent to increasing a concentrated load. It is recommended to use lightweight materials to build the wall, and the wall thickness should preferably not exceed 120 millimeters to reduce the pressure on the prefabricated slabs. At the same time, proper waterproofing should be done. First, apply a layer of permeable leveling mortar on the surface of the prefabricated slabs, and then lay a polyurethane waterproof layer. It is recommended to use waterproof coatings and avoid using rolls or polymer waterproof layers, as they may age and crack after long-term use. After laying the waterproof layer, conduct a 72-hour water test to ensure the tightness of the waterproof layer. Proceed with the next step of pipeline installation only if there is no leakage. Before installing the drainage pipes and water supply pipes, conduct water tests to check them. All pipes should pass the water tests, and after confirming there is no leakage or blockage, carry out sealing treatment. After sealing, conduct another water test to ensure that the waterproof performance of the entire system meets the expected standards.
Building Wall Partitions on the Prefabricated Hollow Slab Floors for a Bathroom: Choose lightweight materials. Due to the limited load-bearing capacity of prefabricated hollow slabs, lightweight panels or infill walls should be selected as the materials for the bathroom partitions to ensure the load-bearing safety of the floor. Carry out elevation treatment. To facilitate drainage and waterproofing, the bathroom floor can be elevated by about 40 centimeters so that the drainage pipes can run smoothly along the exterior wall.
