Prefabricated Panel Structure Houses in Nanchang

Admin 18 de septiembre de 2026

There are prefabricated panel structure houses in Nanchang, and there are relevant cases and policy support for their renovation and governance.

Renovation Cases: On June 20, 2024, three prefabricated panel structure houses numbered 7, 11, and 12 on Wenwei Road, Lot 302, Liantang Street, Nanchang County, were found to have severe wall cracks and were identified as D-grade dilapidated houses by professional assessment. Subsequently, reconstruction work was carried out. Among them, the reconstruction of resident Wei Jiejiang's 99.71-square-meter house cost less than 190,000 yuan, at a rate of 1,872 yuan per square meter. This case indicates that for prefabricated panel structure houses with serious safety hazards, reconstruction is an effective solution, and from a cost perspective, residents can bear it to a certain extent.

Problem Reflection: At a prefabricated panel house on a certain number of Yongshu Road, Xihu District, Nanchang City, there have been situations where the construction party of a rented commercial space carried out unauthorized renovation work, knocking down walls, blocking public passageways, and removing entrance doors to stairwells. This not only poses safety hazards to the main structure of the house but also causes noise pollution from construction, disrupting residents' normal lives. This reflects that during the subsequent use of prefabricated panel structure houses, if there is a lack of effective management and supervision, they are prone to damage from external factors, thereby affecting the safety of the houses and the normal lives of residents.

Policy Support: By the end of May 2026, the '15th Five-Year Plan for Urban Renewal' issued by the State Council clearly proposed supporting the self-initiated renewal and original-site reconstruction of old housing, and steadily promoting the governance and renovation of prefabricated panel houses. In Nanchang, some residents have already moved into elevator apartments after original-site reconstruction. This shows that under policy guidance, the renovation work for prefabricated panel structure houses is gradually progressing, and residents' living conditions are expected to significantly improve. Through original-site reconstruction, not only can safety hazards in houses be eliminated, but the functionality and comfort of houses can also be enhanced to meet residents' demands for a better life.
