Solutions for Tilted Prefabricated Panel Houses

Admin 19 de septiembre de 2026

For tilted prefabricated panel houses, systematic measures such as temporary support, rectification and reinforcement, and long-term monitoring should be taken based on the cause and degree of the tilt, as detailed below:

I. Temporary Emergency Support

  1. Steel Support Reinforcement: Use Φ100×4mm steel pipes as diagonal braces, spaced 1.2-1.5 meters apart, with a tilt angle controlled between 45°-60°. Add a 20mm thick steel plate at the top to disperse pressure and prevent further structural deformation.
  2. Unloading and Weight Reduction: Immediately remove any loads stacked on the prefabricated panels, prioritizing the transfer of live loads (such as furniture and equipment) to reduce the impact of the structure's self-weight on the tilt.

II. Long-Term Rectification and Reinforcement

  1. Grouting Lifting Technique: Drill holes with a diameter of 50mm and inject a 1:2 cement mortar (mixed with 3% expansion agent) at a pressure controlled between 0.3-0.5MPa, with a lifting rate of ≤2mm/h to avoid structural cracking due to rapid lifting.
  2. Carbon Fiber Sheet Reinforcement: Adhere 300g/m² carbon fiber sheets (with a tensile strength of ≥3400MPa) to the bottom of the tilted panels, cross-laying them in two layers and fixing the edges with M10 chemical anchors (spaced 200mm apart) to enhance the structure's tensile capacity.
  3. Foundation Reinforcement: If the tilt is caused by insufficient foundation bearing capacity, enhance the foundation bearing capacity through methods such as foundation enlargement or pile foundation reinforcement to prevent further tilting.
  4. Adjusting Prefabricated Panel Positions: If the tilt is due to uneven installation or dimensional deviations, readjust the positions of the prefabricated panels to ensure installation accuracy.
  5. Replacing Prefabricated Panels: If the tilt is severe and cannot be repaired, replace the prefabricated panels to ensure structural stability.
  6. Pouring Composite Layers: Clean the surface dust from the prefabricated panels, lay a 6mm diameter steel mesh (with a spacing of 20cm square), and pour fine aggregate concrete with a strength grade of no less than C25 (with a thickness of 5-8cm) to form a reinforced concrete composite layer and enhance overall integrity.

III. Acceptance and Long-Term Monitoring

After rectification, the tilt should be ≤3‰ (measured with a total station), and settlement observation points should be set up for weekly monitoring. If there is no change for three consecutive months, the structure can be deemed stable.

IV. Precautions

  1. Timely Handling: Take immediate measures upon discovering the tilt to prevent the problem from worsening and affecting building safety.
  2. Professional Team: Select a qualified construction team to ensure that the handling effect meets regulatory requirements.
  3. Strengthened Supervision: Strictly supervise the construction process to ensure that the installation and reinforcement of prefabricated panels comply with design standards.
