Prefabricated Panel House Construction Video
Currently, there is no complete video directly providing the construction process of prefabricated panel houses, but the key processes of prefabricated panel manufacturing and prefabricated house construction can assist in understanding the construction techniques.

Prefabricated Panel Manufacturing Process
- Mold Preparation and Rebar Installation: Workers first fabricate steel plate molds and spray mold release agents inside the molds to facilitate subsequent demolding. Subsequently, distribution rebars are installed, which serve to disperse loads and enhance the overall structural integrity. Next, large foam panels with a thickness of 15 centimeters are placed. These foam panels account for approximately half of the volume of the prefabricated panels. The foam panels are secured in shape with iron hooks to ensure they do not shift during the concrete pouring process.
- Main Rebar Laying and Concrete Pouring: Main rebars (steel strands) are laid, and a "pre-tensioning" device is used to stretch the steel strands to their ultimate strength. This causes the steel strands to generate pre-compression stress during the concrete hardening process, thereby improving the crack resistance and load-bearing capacity of the prefabricated panels. Afterward, a second layer of concrete is poured, and a vibrating rod is used to eliminate air bubbles, ensuring the density of the concrete and preventing internal voids that could affect structural strength.
- Curing and Cutting: After the pouring is completed, the prefabricated panels undergo either 4 hours of steam curing or natural curing to allow the concrete to fully hydrate and reach the designed strength. Finally, they are cut using CNC technology to form hollow structures. These hollow structures can be used for running cables, draining sewage, etc., enhancing the functionality of the house.
Prefabricated House Construction Process
Taking a rural case in South Korea as an example, after the foundation is leveled, a non-reinforced concrete cushion is poured, and a white plastic sheet is laid to prevent moisture loss and ensure the stability of the foundation. Five-ton prefabricated foundation piles are installed and secured with base plates, providing a solid foundation for the house. The beams are quickly connected using mortise-and-tenon joints, a structural form that is not only firmly connected but also allows for fast construction. The stairs are hoisted like building blocks, and the floor slab is laid with a thickness of 5 centimeters. Finally, the gaps between the components are grouted to enhance the overall structural integrity and tightness. The entire main structure construction process takes only 14 days, demonstrating the efficiency of prefabricated house construction.
