Construction Methods for Prefabricated Panel Houses
Admin 19 de septiembre de 2026
The construction methods for prefabricated panel houses mainly include the installation processes for exterior wall cladding and prefabricated wall panels, as detailed below:

Exterior Wall Cladding Installation Process
- Floor Treatment and Line Setting: First, clean the floor surface, verify the position of the prefabricated cladding and the relative elevation of the floor. If the error exceeds 5mm, grind or repair it to ensure the foundation's flatness. Then, set out the positioning edge lines and control lines for the prefabricated cladding on the floor panel to provide precise references for subsequent installation.
- Elevation Adjustment and Leak-Proofing Treatment: Place elevation adjustment shims at the bottom of the prefabricated cladding to the designed elevation, ensuring the cladding is level. Adhere leak-proofing adhesive strips at the junctions with the cast-in-place structure to prevent concrete leakage during pouring and ensure structural density.
- Hoisting and Positioning: Slowly hoist the prefabricated cladding using a tower crane. Pause for inspection when the bottom rises to 50cm above the ground, and continue lifting to 50cm above the working layer after confirmation. Construction personnel guide the cladding's descent direction by hand, slowly lowering it to a stable position to avoid collision damage.
- Support Adjustment and Verticality Correction: Install upper and lower diagonal supports. The lower diagonal support adjusts the cladding's in-and-out position for bottom positioning. After releasing the hoisting equipment, the upper diagonal support precisely adjusts the wall's verticality to ensure the cladding's installation accuracy meets regulatory requirements.
- Installation of Other Components: Complete the installation of the remaining prefabricated components in sequence to form a complete structural system.

- Measurement and Line Setting: Conduct precise measurements according to the design drawings, set out the control lines for wall panel installation, and determine the position and elevation.
- Rebar Positioning and Correction: Use rebar positioning steel plates to composite-connect the rebars and correct misaligned rebars to ensure accurate rebar positions, providing a reliable foundation for the connection between the wall panel and the structure.
- Shim Leveling and Seepage Prevention Treatment: Level the bottom of the wall panel using shims to ensure flatness. Adhere rubber-plastic cotton strips to enhance sealing and prevent rainwater leakage.
- Mortar Bedding and Hoisting: Perform mortar bedding treatment to ensure a firm bond between the wall panel's bottom and the foundation. Hoist the wall panel to the installation position using hooks and complete the final positioning.
Prefabricated panel houses use factory-prefabricated solid or hollow cement components as the primary materials, achieving efficient construction through standardized installation processes, combining structural strength with construction convenience.
