Prefabricated House with Sloped Roof

Admin 18 de septiembre de 2026

The sloped roof of a prefabricated house can be achieved through three mainstream solutions: cement prefabricated panels, resin tiles, and light steel structure renovation. The appropriate solution should be selected based on load requirements, environmental conditions, and construction duration. The specific implementation points are as follows:

I. Material Selection and Solution Adaptation

  1. Cement Prefabricated Panels: Suitable for heavy-load environments (such as industrial plants and chemical factories) or scenarios with a span of 4-6 meters. Their compressive strength can reach 5MPa (e.g., products from Beijing Zhongchuang Hongtu), with excellent seismic performance and no need for sand treatment. If a hollow structure is adopted (e.g., products from Hebei Pingshun), it can balance lightweight and Class A fire resistance requirements. When the span exceeds 6 meters, steel beam support is required to avoid structural deformation.
  2. Resin Tile Sloped Roof: Recommended for areas with high ultraviolet radiation or heavy rainfall (such as the slope renovation project in Fujian). PVC or glass fiber-reinforced resin tiles are corrosion-resistant, aging-resistant, and highly hydrophobic, significantly improving drainage efficiency. Products from Chuzhou Huaxique have a thickness of 2.5-3.0mm and support color customization, while multi-layer tiles from Anhui Chuanshu have better aging resistance. During installation, the nail spacing should be ≤50cm, and waterproof gaskets should be installed to prevent water leakage.
  3. Light Steel Structure Renovation: Suitable for the rapid renovation of existing buildings, with a load capacity of up to 300kg/㎡ and a construction duration of only 1-3 days (e.g., the system from Sichuan Xinzhijiang). It is necessary to calculate the wind load and ensure rust prevention treatment at bolt connections to avoid structural failure due to corrosion.

II. Core Construction Points

  • Base Layer Treatment: The roof base layer should be flat, with a recommended slope of ≥15° to prevent water accumulation. If the original structure is a flat roof, the angle should be adjusted using light steel keels or a concrete slope-forming layer.
  • Structural Safety: Cement prefabricated panels should be equipped with steel beams according to the designed span. Light steel structures should be checked for stability based on local wind pressure values. For resin tiles, it is necessary to check whether the purlin spacing meets the requirements of the tile material (usually ≤60cm).
  • Waterproofing and Durability: The joints of resin tiles should be sealed with special adhesive. Nodes of the light steel structure should be painted with anti-rust paint, and the joints of cement prefabricated panels should be filled with high-strength mortar.

III. Economic and Durability Analysis

  • Resin Tiles: With a durable lifespan of several decades and low maintenance costs, they only require regular cleaning of drainage channels (once every six months) and inspection of fasteners (once a year), making them suitable for long-term use scenarios.
  • Cement Prefabricated Panels and Light Steel Structures: The initial costs are controllable, and the construction duration is short (1-7 days). However, transportation costs need to be considered for cement panels (suitable for heavy-load environments), and light steel structures require regular inspection of the anti-rust layer (repainting every 3-5 years).

IV. Typical Application Scenarios

  • For heavy-load environments (such as rail transit station buildings), cement prefabricated panels are the priority choice.
  • For slope renovation projects in heavy rainfall areas, resin tiles are recommended.
  • For the rapid renovation of existing buildings (such as roof upgrades in old residential areas), light steel structure solutions are suitable.
