Prefabricated House Structure Installation

Admin 18 de septiembre de 2026

There are various methods for the installation of prefabricated house structures, mainly including the following:

Overlapping Assembly of Upper and Lower Boxes: This method is suitable for constructing buildings up to 12 stories high. In non-seismic areas, for buildings under 5 stories, no additional connection measures are required between the boxes; the self-weight and friction of the components are sufficient to ensure the overall stability of the structure. However, in seismic areas or for taller buildings, additional connection measures are necessary to ensure structural safety. Specific methods include applying post-tensioning in the horizontal or vertical direction of the building to create a cohesive whole through mutual compression between the boxes; using cast-in-place continuous balconies or corridors to connect the individual box components; connecting the boxes with bolts; or reserving chain slots and notches in the wall ribs or corners of the box components, which, after installation, form vertical cavities filled with vertical reinforcement and concrete, creating cast-in-place structural columns that connect the box components.

Interlocking and Stacking of Box Components: This combination method achieves a more economical structural layout by avoiding the repetition of adjacent sides of the boxes. It is suitable for prefabricated housing projects with high demands for space utilization and cost control.

Assembly of Box Components with Prefabricated Panels: This method combines the advantages of box components and prefabricated panels, saving materials while allowing for more flexible layout design. For rooms with numerous equipment pipelines and heavy decoration workloads, using box components can reduce on-site workload and improve construction efficiency.

Assembly of Box Components with Frame Structures: In this method, box components are placed on a frame structure to form a stable overall structure. The frame structure provides good support and stability, while the box components offer flexible space division and decoration possibilities.

Installation Process of Prefabricated Modular Housing: Workers first construct the chassis frame of the house on a pre-cast concrete foundation, securing each joint firmly with metal connectors to ensure stability. Next, they lay the floor joists and cover them with wooden panels to form a solid platform. After that, they move the prefabricated wall modules onto the platform, erect them, and fix them to the floor with nail guns. Once the exterior wall frame is enclosed, they proceed with the internal fine division, constructing partition wall frames and laying the floor beams for the second floor simultaneously. Finally, they construct the roof by transporting the large triangular trusses into position, with workers on the ground and roof working closely together to lift and precisely place them on the beams at the top of the walls.
