Prefabricated House Structural Joints

Admin 18 de septiembre de 2026

Prefabricated house structural joints are key parts that connect two or more components, with the main function of transferring loads and ensuring the overall integrity of the structure.

Types of Prefabricated House Structural Joints

In prefabricated houses, according to the connection method, they can be divided into pinned joints, rigid joints, and other types. Pinned joints achieve conditional relative movement between components through hinges. This connection method allows the components to rotate within a certain range, making it suitable for structural parts that require a certain degree of mobility, such as the connections of some doors and windows. It can release stress to a certain extent and reduce the internal forces in the structure caused by factors such as temperature changes. Rigid joints control the lateral displacement of the structure by transferring bending moments. They prevent relative rotation between the connected components, enabling more effective transfer of bending moments and shear forces, ensuring the overall stiffness and stability of the structure. They are commonly used in parts with high requirements for structural integrity, such as the beam-column connections in frame structures.

Forms of Prefabricated Floor Slab Joints

In practical applications, prefabricated floor slab joints come in various forms. Double-T slab connections are a common type. Double-T slabs have large spans and load-bearing capacities, and their connection methods need to ensure load transfer and integrity between the slabs. Prestressed hollow slab anchor bar connections are also an important form. Anchor bars firmly connect prestressed hollow slabs together, enhancing the overall performance of the structure. At the same time, slab joint connections need to take into account both seismic performance and construction efficiency. Under seismic action, the slab joints should be able to withstand a certain amount of deformation without being damaged, ensuring the seismic capacity of the structure. During construction, they should be easy to operate to improve construction speed.

Characteristics of Steel Structure Joints

Steel structure joints can use high-strength connection devices and achieve rapid positioning and installation through bidirectional cross locators. These locators can accurately position steel structure components to the designed positions, improving the accuracy and efficiency of installation. Stainless steel beam-column bolt-weld hybrid joints combine the advantages of welding and bolting. Welding can provide strong connection strength, while bolting is convenient for disassembly and adjustment. However, these joints also face some problems. For example, welding residual stresses can affect the performance of the structure, potentially leading to defects such as cracks during use. The lack of process standards can also affect the consistency and reliability of connection quality.

Connection Methods of Modular Buildings

As a mode with a higher degree of integration in prefabricated assembled buildings, modular buildings disassemble the building into individual independent modules, which are manufactured in the factory and then transported to the construction site for assembly. Each module completes most of the construction processes in the factory. On-site, the modules are connected into a whole through cast-in-place connections, ensuring the overall integrity and stability of the structure.
