Specifications and Requirements for Prefabricated House Roof Panels

Admin 19 de septiembre de 2026

The specifications and requirements for prefabricated house roof panels mainly include aspects such as span, width, thickness, length, live load capacity rating, and other parameters.

Span: The maximum span of prefabricated panels for residential use is typically 4.2 meters and does not follow modular specifications. If longer spans are required in actual projects, custom production is necessary to meet specific architectural space needs.

Width: Common width specifications are 500 mm and 600 mm. Additionally, four-hole panels generally have a width of 400 mm, while five-hole panels have a width of 500 mm. The width varies depending on the number of holes, and selection can be made based on specific design requirements.

Thickness: Common thicknesses are 120 mm and 150 mm. Prefabricated panels with a thickness of 100 mm are relatively less used but can be custom-produced according to specific project requirements when special needs arise.

Length: Lengths are generally set according to a 300 mm modulus, with common length specifications including 3000, 3300, 3600, 3900, and 4200 mm. In special cases, lengths such as 3800 and 4000 mm may also occur, but the maximum length for standard panels is limited to 4200 mm.

Live Load Capacity Rating: Grade 1 and Grade 2 panels commonly used in residential buildings can withstand live loads of 1 kN/m² and 2 kN/m², respectively. However, in the southwest region, a minimum of Grade 4 panels, which can withstand a live load of 4 kN/m², has been specified to accommodate the region's unique architectural usage requirements and environmental conditions.

Example of Other Parameters: Taking a C30 concrete prefabricated hollow panel as an example, the span should be selected as 3.6 m, 3.9 m, or 4.2 m based on the room's clear span. The panel end resting length should be ≥120 mm. The width is available in 500 mm and 600 mm specifications, with a 20 mm tongue-and-groove reserved on the panel side. The thickness is 150 mm (including the protective layer), with hollow hole diameters of 110 mm and hole spacing of 150 mm. The load-bearing capacity is that of a Grade 2 panel (2.0 kN/m²), with a concrete cube compressive strength standard value of ≥30 MPa. In terms of steel reinforcement configuration, longitudinal reinforcement uses HRB400E grade Φ10 mm @ 150 mm, distribution reinforcement uses HPB300 grade φ6 mm @ 200 mm, and reinforcement within 300 mm of the panel end is densified to φ10 mm @ 100 mm.
