Comparison of Prefabricated House Prices
Admin 18 de septiembre de 2026
The prices of prefabricated houses vary significantly due to factors such as configuration, area, and brand, ranging from tens of thousands of yuan per set to over ten thousand yuan per square meter. The following analysis is conducted from two aspects: price range and influencing factors.

I. Price Range
- Low-Price Range: Some basic prefabricated houses are relatively inexpensive. For example, a two-bedroom, one-living-room prefabricated house of about 70 square meters, including kitchen and bathroom facilities and reserved socket outlets, costs less than $30,000 (less than 200,000 yuan). Such houses generally meet basic living needs and have relatively simple configurations.
- Pricing per Square Meter: The unit prices of prefabricated houses vary significantly across different brands and regions. For instance, the price of prefabricated concrete houses from the Chuangjie brand in Tai'an, Shandong, is 260 yuan per square meter, while the Chengyi cement brand in Beijing is 400 yuan per square meter, and the Rongxin brand in Jining, Shandong, is 340 yuan per square meter. These houses are mostly standardized products, and their prices are greatly influenced by materials and craftsmanship.
- High-End Configuration Range: The price per square meter of conventional finished houses generally falls within the range of 2,000-4,000 yuan, including basic decoration. If special processes or materials (such as steel structures, wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant materials) are used, or high-end configurations (such as smart door locks, panoramic glass) are customized, the price can reach 5,000-10,000 yuan per square meter.
- Special Pricing Methods: Some manufacturers offer pricing per set. For example, the prefabricated concrete houses from Xiangyun Prefabricated Building Co., Ltd. in Jining, Shandong, start at 3,669 yuan per set, but such prices usually correspond to small-area or basic-configuration houses.
II. Core Factors Influencing Prices
- House Area and Structural Complexity: Larger areas result in higher material and labor costs; irregular designs or reinforcement requirements (such as earthquake-resistant and wind-resistant structures) significantly increase construction costs.
- Configuration and Materials: Details such as kitchen and bathroom facilities, pre-embedded water and electricity pipelines, and door and window grades directly affect costs. For example, houses with a reinforced concrete monolithic structure have outstanding fire and earthquake resistance but are relatively expensive.
- Transportation and Installation Costs: Remote areas require additional logistics costs, and transportation distance and installation difficulty (such as terrain complexity) may drive up the total price.
- Market and Policy Factors: The consumption levels of exporting countries and import policies (such as tariffs and certification requirements) affect the final selling price. For example, developed countries like the United States have a high demand for prefabricated houses, and prices are generally higher than in developing countries.
In conclusion, the price of prefabricated houses should be comprehensively evaluated based on specific needs. It is recommended to choose an appropriate plan according to the budget, usage scenario, and long-term maintenance costs.
