Prefabricated House Grouting Construction Technology

Admin 17 de septiembre de 2026

The grouting construction technology for prefabricated houses mainly includes two parts: pre-construction preparation and core construction process, as detailed below:

Pre-construction Preparation

  • Technical and Personnel Preparation: Conduct targeted construction briefings to ensure that workers and management personnel involved in grouting fully understand the types of prefabricated components, the number of grouting sleeves, the locations of inlet and outlet holes, the rules for component compartmentalization, and safety operation requirements. Conduct process trials in advance to test the actual fluidity of the grouting material, its workable time after mixing, and to understand the impact of on-site temperature on the setting speed of the grouting material. Grouting workers must undergo professional training, and preference should be given to those with experience in at least two complete grouting projects to ensure operational proficiency.
  • Material and Equipment Inspection: Inspect each prefabricated component, focusing on confirming that the grouting sleeves are not blocked and that the installation position deviations of the components are within allowable limits (adjustments must be made if the elevation and horizontal deviations exceed standards before grouting). Check the shelf life and packaging integrity of the grouting material, and strictly prohibit the use of grouting material that is damp, caked, or has damaged packaging to avoid affecting construction quality.

Core Construction Process

  • Base Treatment: Sweep the floor surface to thoroughly remove debris such as crushed stone, laitance, dust, oil, and release agents, ensuring a clean base. Moisten the floor surface 24 hours before grouting and absorb any standing water one hour before grouting to avoid dilution of the grout by standing water or affecting its bonding performance.
  • Grout Mixing: Prefer mechanical mixing, controlling the time to 1-2 minutes; if mixing by hand, first add 2/3 of the water and mix for 2 minutes, then add the remaining water and mix until uniform (the standard consistency water addition is 12%-14%, which must be strictly controlled by proportion). After mixing, clean the residual grout in the grouting machine with clean water to prevent curing and blocking of the equipment.
  • Grouting Operation: Pour the grout from one side, and immediately insert a dedicated rubber stopper when it overflows from the other side. Do not grout from all four sides simultaneously to prevent air entrapment and insufficient compactness. Some processes require continuous grouting for 30 seconds after the grout is full, and promptly plug the holes with a rubber rod to ensure the grout is full and leak-free.
