Construction Drawing of Eaves for Prefabricated Houses

Admin 18 de septiembre de 2026

Currently, there are no specific construction drawings directly provided for the eaves of prefabricated houses, but the key steps and processes for constructing house eaves can be introduced.

Design and Planning

Before constructing the eaves, detailed design and planning are required. Determine the size, shape, and slope of the eaves based on the overall style, structural characteristics, and usage requirements of the house. For example, if the house is of European style, the eaves can be designed to be relatively wide with a certain degree of curvature; if it is of modern minimalist style, the eaves can be relatively narrow with simple lines. At the same time, consider the drainage function of the eaves and set a reasonable drainage slope, generally between 2% and 3%, to ensure that rainwater can be discharged smoothly and avoid damage to the eaves caused by water accumulation.

Preparation

Prepare the required materials and tools. The materials include formwork, steel bars, concrete, etc., and the tools include electric saws, electric drills, wrenches, etc. Clean and level the construction site to ensure a safe and tidy construction environment. Also, inspect the prefabricated components to check for defects such as cracks and deformations. If any are found, repair or replace them in a timely manner.

Construction Steps

  • Installing Formwork and Edge Panels: Install the formwork and edge panels of the eaves according to the design requirements. Ensure that the dimensions of the formwork are accurate and the joints are tight, and that the edge panels are firmly installed to provide stable support for subsequent construction.
  • Binding and Connecting Steel Bars: Bind and connect the steel bars inside the formwork according to the design drawings. The specifications, spacing, and quantity of the steel bars should meet the design requirements to enhance the structural strength of the eaves.
  • Pouring Concrete: Pour the well-mixed concrete evenly into the formwork and use a vibrating rod for vibration to ensure that the concrete is dense and free of air bubbles and voids.
  • Curing and Formwork Removal: After the concrete is poured, perform curing to keep the surface of the concrete moist. The curing time should generally be no less than 7 days. The formwork can be removed only after the concrete reaches the designed strength.

Subsequent Treatment

  • Surface Treatment: Polish and repair the surface of the eaves to make it flat and smooth, achieving an aesthetically pleasing effect.
  • Waterproofing Treatment: Apply waterproof coatings or lay waterproof membranes on the surface of the eaves to take waterproofing measures and prevent rainwater leakage from affecting the structure of the house.

For more comprehensive information or specific construction drawings, it is recommended to consult professional architects or construction teams.
