Prefabricated House Decoration Style

Admin 18 de septiembre de 2026

The decoration style of prefabricated houses indeed faces issues of template-based design, which are evident in multiple aspects such as materials, shapes, styles, craftsmanship, and whole-house customization.

In terms of material prefabrication, the market was once dominated by certain popular materials. For example, the widespread use of gray marble tiles has almost become a standard feature in kitchens, living rooms, and bathrooms. Additionally, paint-free doors and glass handrails have been extensively copied due to their popularity online, resulting in a lack of individuality and high similarity in decoration outcomes.

The template-based design of shapes is also prominent. European-style carvings, rock-panel backgrounds, and Scarpa-style stacked levels are commonly stacked in every household, losing their original uniqueness and artistic sense. Although these shapes enhance the visual effect of the space to some extent, their excessive use makes the decoration monotonous and lacking in variation.

The issue of style prefabrication cannot be overlooked. Style labels such as European, vintage, and Bauhaus are often misused by practitioners, often deviating from the actual lifestyle and personalized needs of residents. The choice of style should be based on the preferences, living habits, and actual conditions of the house, rather than simply applying popular style labels.

In terms of craftsmanship prefabrication, some formalistic techniques such as yellow-wall green-ground and 3D layout, although adding a sense of ceremony to the decoration to some extent, often only increase costs without practical value. These techniques do not truly enhance the quality and practicality of the decoration but may instead impose unnecessary financial burdens on residents.

Furthermore, the template-based design of whole-house customization is also a major issue in the decoration style of prefabricated houses. Designs such as floor-to-ceiling doors and minimalist handles, although pursuing visual unity, may sacrifice functionality and individuality. Whole-house customization should focus more on the actual needs and space utilization of residents, rather than merely pursuing uniformity and simplicity in appearance.
