Construction Process of Prefabricated Houses
Admin 18 de septiembre de 2026
The construction process of prefabricated houses varies depending on the type. Common types include prefabricated detachable container houses, rapid-assembly prefabricated houses, and modular buildings, with typical processes as follows:

Construction Process of Prefabricated Detachable Container Houses
- Bottom Frame Installation
Connect the lower corner fittings to the bottom sills and secure them with bolts; place the marking strips (e.g., with specifications of 40x80x2960mm) and connect them to the bottom sills using bolts; measure the diagonals to ensure perpendicularity and prevent frame tilting. - Floor Leveling
Lay MGO boards and leave gaps for wall panels; use a level to measure the floor's flatness and adjust the height differences with shims to ensure subsequent installation stability. - Top Frame Installation
Connect the upper corner fittings to the top longitudinal beams and tighten the bolts; install the top short beams and upper corner fittings, use a level to adjust the perpendicularity of the columns; reinforce the joints of the top strips, embed drainage channels, and secure the drainage pipes to prevent rainwater leakage. - Wall Panel and Ceiling Installation
Attach sealing strips and then install the wall panels; support the wall panels at door and window positions; choose the fixing method for the ceiling based on whether there are wall panels on both sides (e.g., supported by top beams or square tubes) to ensure structural airtightness. - Roof Installation
Cut and lay glass wool on the roof, apply adhesive to fix the inner edges of the drainage channels; lay and secure the roof tiles to complete the waterproofing and insulation layer construction.
Construction Process of Rapid-Assembly Prefabricated Houses
- Foundation Treatment
Level the foundation and pour a cushion layer; excavate pits about 60 cm deep and lay plastic sheets to prevent moisture loss from the concrete; pour plain concrete as the foundation. - Foundation Pile and Beam Installation
After the concrete has set, install the base plates and secure them with expansion screws; hoist 5-ton prefabricated foundation piles, assemble the cross beams, and fix them with nuts; fill the gaps with foam adhesive to enhance stability. - Main Body Assembly
Hoist the stairs to the designated position and lay 5 cm thick floor slabs; grout all component gaps to ensure structural integrity.
Construction Process of Modular Buildings
- Factory Prefabrication
Manufacture ceiling, wall, water and electricity pipeline, and other modules in a three-dimensional factory, using parallel operations and automated production lines to shorten the cycle and improve production efficiency. - On-Site Assembly
Transport the modules to the construction site and assemble them in the designed positions using tower cranes; mark each module with an 'ID card' (project name, model, production date) to ensure assembly accuracy. - Connection and Acceptance
Connect the modules with cast-in-place connections to reduce on-site noise, dust, and construction waste; the completion period is more than 60% shorter than that of traditional buildings, and quality acceptance is required to ensure safety.
The construction of different types of prefabricated houses is centered around standardization and modularization, but specific steps need to be adjusted according to design requirements and technical specifications to ensure construction efficiency and structural safety.
