Prefabricated Concrete Square House

Admin 18 de septiembre de 2026

Prefabricated concrete houses are a type of pre-cast housing, produced industrially and assembled on-site, offering advantages such as shortened construction periods and reduced pollution.

I. Technical Composition and Component Types The core technology of prefabricated concrete houses is the prefabricated concrete structure, with components including prefabricated beams, slabs, walls, columns, and other products. These components are standardized and produced in factories before being transported to the construction site, where they are assembled into a complete structure using reliable connection methods. For example, the Nanjing Jindi Yufang project adopted a prestressed prefabricated concrete assembled integral frame structure system, demonstrating the application of prefabricated frame technology.

II. Main Types and Characteristics

  1. Panel Assembly Type: Using prefabricated wall panels and floor slabs as core components, the building's main structure is formed through on-site assembly. Its advantage lies in expanding indoor usable area, but design flexibility is limited by the standardized dimensions of prefabricated components.
  2. Box Assembly Type: Prefabricated functional units (such as bathroom and kitchen modules) are combined to form a building, with construction speed increased by 50%-70% compared to traditional methods. However, this type of building requires higher transportation and lifting equipment, necessitating solutions for transporting large components.
  3. Modular Construction: As a more integrated model, modular construction breaks down the building into independent modules, which are completed with structure, decoration, and equipment installation in factories before being transported to the site for assembly. Its construction period can be shortened by more than 60%, with representative cases including the assembled shear wall residential structure system developed by Vanke Group.

III. Development History and Application Status China's prefabricated concrete technology began in the 1950s, initially applied in factory and residential construction. In the 21st century, due to increased production efficiency and growing environmental protection demands, the technology has regained attention. Companies like Vanke have promoted industrial development through technological innovation, such as the engineering application of the assembled shear wall residential structure system. In recent years, Chinese prefabricated concrete houses have performed outstandingly in the international market. In the first four months of 2026, the Guangzhou Customs District exported 1.4 billion yuan worth of mobile houses, a year-on-year increase of 38.1%; in the first quarter of 2024, the national export growth rate of prefabricated buildings reached 45%, with Guangdong Customs' export value surging by 38.1% year-on-year, indicating strong overseas market demand.
