Prefabricated Concrete House

Admin 18 de septiembre de 2026

Prefabricated concrete houses are a new type of building constructed using factory-prefabricated core components and assembled on-site, featuring high efficiency, low cost, environmental friendliness, superior performance, and flexible space utilization, although they also have limitations in design flexibility.

Technical Principles: Prefabricated concrete houses, fully named as "prefabricated reinforced concrete full-frame shear wall structure houses," involve the core process of prefabricating walls, floor slabs, beams, columns, and other components in factories. Each module integrates multiple structures such as steel reinforcement skeletons, insulation layers, waterproof layers, and pre-embedded pipelines, and is assembled on-site in a "building block" manner.

Core Advantages:

  1. High Efficiency: It takes only 7 days to prefabricate a single 30㎡ module in the factory. During on-site installation, three workers with a crane can complete the installation of a single module in 4 hours, and the overall construction of a 100㎡ house takes only 2 days. In rural areas of Henan, even a villa can be assembled within four hours.
  2. Low Cost: Taking a 120㎡ self-built rural house as an example, the cost of a traditional brick-and-mortar structure is approximately 180,000 to 220,000 yuan, while the cost of the main modules of a prefabricated concrete house is only 120,000 to 150,000 yuan, reducing the overall cost by 30%. In rural areas of Henan, the cost per square meter is only over 300 yuan.
  3. Environmental Friendliness: The factory production process achieves a 95% recycling rate of offcuts, with no dust or sewage emissions on the construction site. Construction waste is only 10% of that from traditional construction methods. Environmentally friendly materials such as concrete and water-based paints are used, with formaldehyde emissions ≤ 0.05mg/m³, well below national standards.
  4. Superior Performance: Using C30-C40 grade concrete with built-in Φ8-Φ12 steel reinforcement meshes, the compressive strength reaches 25-30MPa, 1.5 times that of traditional brick-and-mortar structures. The walls have pre-reserved slots for EPS insulation layers, improving thermal insulation performance by 40%. Modules are connected using pre-stressed bolts and welded steel plates, achieving a wind resistance rating of 10 and a seismic fortification intensity of 7 degrees.
  5. Flexible Space: Standard module dimensions are 6m × 3m × 3m, allowing for free combination of house types through horizontal splicing and vertical stacking (up to 3 floors).

Application Scenarios: Widely used in rural self-built houses, commercial spaces, and cultural tourism projects, especially rapidly popularized in rural areas of Henan due to their speed, efficiency, and low cost.

Shortcomings: Design flexibility is limited, and thermal insulation performance and seismic performance in earthquake-prone areas need further optimization.
