Prefabricated Concrete Foundation for Houses

Admin 18 de septiembre de 2026

A prefabricated concrete foundation for houses is a foundation form where prefabricated concrete components are produced in a factory and then transported to the site for installation. It features efficient construction, stable quality, and strong durability.

Efficient Construction Method with Significantly Reduced Construction Period

The core advantage of a prefabricated concrete foundation for houses lies in its parallel model of factory production and on-site construction. Traditional cast-in-place foundations require on-site excavation, followed by sequential processes such as steel bar tying, formwork support, concrete pouring, and curing. The entire process is greatly affected by factors such as weather and workmanship, resulting in a relatively long construction period. In contrast, for prefabricated foundations, component production is carried out in the factory while on-site, earth excavation and foundation positioning can be carried out simultaneously. Once the components are transported to the site, they can be directly installed, reducing the construction period by 30%-50%. For example, in a multi-story residential project, after adopting a prefabricated foundation, the construction time for the foundation part was shortened from 45 days to 25 days, significantly improving the overall project progress.

Controllable Material Quality with Stronger Connections than Cast-in-Place

Prefabricated components are produced in the factory through a standardized process. The concrete mix ratio, steel bar arrangement, and curing conditions strictly follow design specifications, and multiple sampling inspections can be carried out, effectively avoiding quality fluctuations caused by human operations or environmental factors during on-site construction. In addition, the components are connected using a hook-and-claw connection technology. Through pre-embedded metal hooks and claws, they form a mechanical interlock with the cast-in-place nodes. Compared with the steel bar anchorage connection of cast-in-place foundations, its shear and tensile resistance performance is improved by about 20%. Especially under dynamic loads such as earthquakes, the overall structural integrity performs better.

Outstanding Durability and Load-Bearing Capacity

Factory production ensures the consistency of concrete compactness and the thickness of the steel bar protective layer. Combined with a steam curing process, the strength development of the components is more uniform, and the resistance to carbonization and chloride ion penetration is significantly enhanced. Measured data shows that the 28-day compressive strength of prefabricated foundations can reach 110%-120% of the design value, while for cast-in-place foundations, due to differences in curing conditions, the strength fluctuation range is usually between 90%-110%. At the same time, the standardized design of prefabricated components enables more accurate calculation of their load-bearing capacity, allowing them to withstand larger loads. They are suitable for scenarios with high stability requirements such as high-rise buildings and heavy equipment foundations.

Related Technology: Extended Application of Prefabricated Building Systems

The prefabricated concrete foundation for houses is an important part of the prefabricated building system. This system achieves rapid on-site assembly through the industrial production of beams, slabs, walls, columns, and other components. The main types include panel prefabrication (such as light steel keel partition walls), box prefabrication (such as integral bathroom modules), and frame prefabrication (such as prefabricated concrete column-beam structures). Its technology covers prefabricated concrete structures and steel structures, further promoting the industrialization of construction.
