Prefabricated Assembly-Type House Beam

Admin 18 de septiembre de 2026

In prefabricated assembly-type houses, beams typically use prefabricated beams, including types such as prefabricated solid beams and prefabricated composite beams, which are core components of prefabricated concrete frame structures.

1. Types and Structural Characteristics of Prefabricated Beams

Prefabricated beams are divided into various forms based on design requirements. Prefabricated solid beams are solid structures cast as a whole, suitable for scenarios with high load-bearing requirements; prefabricated composite beams are composed of a factory-prefabricated part and a site-cast part, with cross-sections mostly rectangular or T-shaped. When the floor uses prefabricated panels for assembly, to reduce structural height and increase building clearance, the frame beam cross-section may be designed as cruciform or basket-shaped; in monolithic prefabricated frames, prefabricated beams are often rectangular. After the prefabricated panels are installed, a composite structure is formed through site-cast concrete to enhance integrity.

2. Production Process and Quality Control

The production of prefabricated beams follows a standardized process, including formwork assembly, steel bar tying, concrete pouring, and curing, all of which must comply with industry standards such as the Construction Engineering Construction Process Regulations. Modern production techniques incorporate intelligent circular production lines and digital twin technology, achieving full-process automation of steel bar processing, pouring, curing, and tensioning grouting through mobile pedestals, hydraulic formwork, intelligent vibration systems, and steam curing processes. For example, steam curing precisely controls temperature and humidity, significantly shortening the curing cycle and improving concrete strength; the intelligent vibration system monitors vibration compactness through sensors, avoiding human operational errors and ensuring stable component quality.

3. Construction Installation and Application Advantages

After being prefabricated in the factory, prefabricated beams are transported to the site, precisely positioned, and fixed using lifting equipment, greatly shortening the construction period. Their advantages are reflected in three aspects:

  1. Efficiency Improvement: Standardized production and rapid on-site installation reduce wet work and mitigate the impact of weather on construction;
  2. Quality Control: The factory environment eliminates the contingencies of on-site construction, making it easier to ensure indicators such as concrete strength and steel bar cover thickness;
  3. Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency: Reduces on-site formwork usage and construction waste generation, aligning with green building development trends.

The application of prefabricated beams must be integrated with the overall structural design. For example, in monolithic prefabricated frames, the connection between prefabricated beams and site-cast nodes must achieve reliable force transmission through high-strength grouting materials or post-cast concrete, ensuring structural safety and durability.
