Prefabricated Assembled Concrete House

Admin 17 de septiembre de 2026

A prefabricated assembled concrete house is a construction model that breaks down a building into independent modules, which are prefabricated in a factory and then transported to the site for assembly. It features a short construction period, controllable quality, energy conservation, environmental protection, and easy maintenance.

Short Construction Period: By producing modules in a factory, a prefabricated assembled concrete house transfers a significant amount of on-site work to the factory, significantly shortening the construction period. Compared to traditional buildings, its construction period can be reduced by more than 60%. For example, a public housing project in Shenzhen, Guangdong, adopted this technology, with five residential buildings nearly 100 meters high assembled from 6,028 concrete modules. The completion and delivery time was shortened from 2.5 to 3 years to just 1 year. This efficiency stems from the parallel operation mode of modular production, where the factory can simultaneously produce multiple modules, while only assembly and a small amount of connection work are required on-site.

Controllable Quality: Factory production enables stricter quality control for prefabricated assembled concrete houses. Each module is equipped with a detailed 'ID card' that records information such as the project name, product model, and production date, ensuring traceability. During production, the position of each steel bar is precisely located in millimeters, with error control accuracy far exceeding that of on-site construction. This standardized production model reduces the impact of human factors on quality and significantly improves the overall quality of the building.

Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection: A prefabricated assembled concrete house completes most of its construction processes in the factory, greatly reducing noise, dust, and construction waste generated on-site. Meanwhile, due to the relatively small volume of module transportation and the shortened construction period, the impact on surrounding traffic is also significantly reduced. This construction method aligns with the concept of green buildings, helping to reduce construction-related disturbances to the environment and promoting the transformation of the construction industry towards low-carbonization.

Easy Maintenance: The modular design of a prefabricated assembled concrete house makes maintenance more flexible. If a part is damaged, the corresponding module can be quickly located and replaced without the need for large-scale demolition or repair. Additionally, as technology advances, its application scenarios continue to expand. For example, it can be combined with smart building technology to achieve modular upgrades, meeting the needs of future functional changes.

Prefabricated assembled concrete buildings are divided into two categories: fully assembled buildings and partially assembled buildings. Fully assembled buildings are mostly used for low-rise or multi-story buildings with low seismic fortification requirements; partially assembled buildings adopt a combination of prefabricated components and cast-in-place concrete to form an assembled monolithic structure, with connection details mainly using three types of steel bar connections: grout sleeve connections, lap connections, and welded connections.
