Portable Toilet Usage Guide
Admin 11 de octubre de 2026
The usage methods of portable toilets vary depending on their type and structure, but generally include core steps such as basic operation, facility usage, and safety precautions.

I. Basic Operation Procedures
Fixing and Stabilization
- Lifting/Transportable Toilets: Use professional equipment (such as cranes) to place the toilet on a flat surface, ensuring that all four corners are securely supported. Some models require untying the fixing straps used during transportation to avoid affecting usage.
- Powered/Trailer-mounted Toilets: After connecting to a vehicle, check the hitch, braking system, and power lines (if equipped with power) to ensure there is no shaking or displacement during driving and parking.
Opening and Entering
- Confirm that the toilet door lock is unlocked and gently push the door panel to enter. Some high-end models are equipped with electronic locks that require a password or card swipe to open.
- After entering, check that the interior space is clean, without any odors or blockages.
II. Facility Usage Methods
Lighting and Ventilation
- Light Bulbs and Sockets: If the toilet is equipped with lighting, press the switch to use it; sockets can be used for charging or connecting small electrical appliances (ensure voltage compatibility).
- Exhaust Fans/Air Outlets: Turn on the exhaust fan (usually button or sensor-activated) to maintain air circulation and reduce odors. Air outlets need to be cleaned regularly to avoid blockages.
Flush System
- Water-flush Toilets: Press the flush button or pull the flush lever, and the water in the tank will flush the toilet bowl. Be mindful of water conservation and avoid multiple consecutive flushes.
- Recirculating Water-flush Toilets: Some models are equipped with a sewage treatment and recirculation system. After flushing, the sewage is filtered and purified for reuse, eliminating the need for an external water source.
- Waterless Vacuum-flush Toilets: After use, press the vacuum button to suck the waste into the holding tank using a vacuum pump. Regularly have the waste removed by professional vehicles.
III. Safety and Maintenance Precautions
- Electrical Safety: If the toilet is equipped with electrical appliances (such as light bulbs, sockets), avoid operating them with wet hands to prevent electric shock.
- Anti-slip Measures: Be cautious when walking on wet floors; some toilets may have anti-slip mats placed on the ground.
- Regular Cleaning: Depending on the frequency of use, clean the holding tank (for waterless models) weekly or monthly or check the water tank level (for water-flush models) to ensure proper equipment operation.
- Emergency Situations: In case of equipment failure (such as flush malfunction, exhaust fan stoppage), immediately stop using and contact the supplier for repairs.
The operation details may vary for different types of toilets. It is recommended to read the product manual or consult the supplier before use to ensure correct operation and extend the equipment's lifespan.
