A portable toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole and provides toilet services to the public, suitable for various locations and available in multiple types and structural forms.

A portable toilet, also known as Portable toilet, refers to a facility that can be moved in its entirety and placed at locations with fixed or temporary needs to provide toilet services to the public and customers.

Suitable Locations: It is suitable for stations, docks, tourist attractions, villa areas, newly built residential communities, large construction sites, squares, densely populated public places, and bustling commercial streets. These locations often have high foot traffic and an urgent need for toilet facilities. Portable toilets can be flexibly arranged to meet usage requirements in different scenarios.

Composition and Structure: It generally consists of a fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device), flooring, sanitary fixtures, walls, washing equipment, water tanks, roofs, and mobile devices. These components work together to ensure that the portable toilet functions properly and provides a comfortable toilet environment for users.

Development History and Materials: Initially, portable toilets were made of materials such as wood, with simple structures and functions, and were prone to absorbing odors. Later, they gradually evolved to use materials such as fiberglass and polyethylene, which offer better durability, water resistance, and odor resistance, improving the overall quality and lifespan of portable toilets.

Type Classification:

  • By Structural Form: They can be divided into single-structure portable toilets and composite-structure portable toilets. Single-structure toilets are relatively simple and suitable for locations with limited space or temporary use; composite-structure toilets are more complex and have more complete functions, suitable for locations with higher requirements for toilet facilities.
  • By Mobility Method: They can be divided into lifting and handling portable toilets, and powered and towed portable toilets. Lifting and handling portable toilets are easy to manually handle and install; powered and towed portable toilets can be towed by vehicles, making movement more convenient and faster.
  • By Sewage Treatment Method: They are divided into water-flush and non-water-flush suction portable toilets, circulating water-flush portable toilets, and dry-packing portable toilets. Different types of sewage treatment methods are suitable for different environments and conditions, meeting diverse needs.
