Polyurethane Mobile Toilet

Admin 20 de septiembre de 2026

A polyurethane mobile toilet is a portable sanitation facility that uses polyurethane material as a key thermal insulation component, offering excellent thermal insulation performance and structural stability, making it suitable for low-temperature environments or those with large temperature variations.

In terms of material selection and structure, the core thermal insulation design of polyurethane mobile toilets is reflected in the application of materials in multiple parts. For example, the mobile toilets produced by Xinjiang Tingqi Metal Products Co., Ltd. feature double-layer polyurethane insulation material on their four panels, with the bottom middle layer also filled with polyurethane insulation material. This structure forms a continuous thermal insulation barrier through the superposition of multiple layers of polyurethane, effectively reducing heat conduction losses through the walls and floor. Polyurethane material itself has a low thermal conductivity coefficient (approximately 0.022-0.033 W/(m·K)), much lower than traditional concrete or metal materials, thus significantly improving the overall thermal insulation efficiency of the toilet.

In terms of thermal insulation performance, polyurethane mobile toilets are particularly adaptable. In plateau regions with large temperature variations between day and night and severe winters, ordinary mobile toilets are prone to water pipe freezing or discomfort due to low indoor temperatures. However, mobile toilets using thickened polyurethane foam boards can further reduce heat conduction by increasing material thickness (e.g., 50-100mm), combined with a sealed structural design, ensuring that indoor temperatures remain within a suitable range. Practical cases in rural areas of Northeast China have also verified this point: after using polyurethane foam material in local thermal insulation and environmentally friendly public toilets, their thermal insulation performance was superior to traditional materials such as polystyrene, effectively preventing indoor-outdoor heat exchange while offering better sealing performance, reducing the production of condensed water. If condensed water accumulates over a long period, it can not only corrode metal components but also breed bacteria. The closed-cell structure of polyurethane (with a porosity of less than 10%) can block water vapor penetration, ensuring that the interior of the toilet remains dry and clean.

Additionally, the lightweight nature of polyurethane material (with a density of approximately 30-50 kg/m³) also reduces the overall weight of the mobile toilet, facilitating transportation and installation, especially suitable for remote areas or temporary use scenarios. Its weather resistance and chemical stability ensure that the material does not easily age when exposed to ultraviolet light, humidity, or acid-base environments for extended periods, extending the service life of the facility.
