How to Disassemble a Plastic Mobile Toilet

Admin 27 de septiembre de 2026

The disassembly of a plastic mobile toilet should follow standardized procedures, with core steps including preparation, component separation, and subsequent handling, as detailed below:

I. Preparation Before Disassembly

  1. Cleaning Waste: Inspect the interior of the toilet to ensure the waste storage tank is free of residual excrement. If deodorizers or coagulants have been added to the tank, empty them according to the instructions to prevent liquid leakage during subsequent handling.
  2. Disinfection Treatment: Spray diluted disinfectant (such as 1:50 diluted bleach solution) over the toilet surface, including the seat, frame, and connections. Allow it to sit for 5 minutes to kill bacteria and reduce the risk of pathogen spread during disassembly.

II. Component Separation Steps

  1. Releasing Fixing Devices
    • Most plastic mobile toilets connect the frame to the base using rotating snap fasteners, typically marked with the word “PUSH”. Press and hold the fastener while rotating it counterclockwise by half a turn to separate the frame from the base.
    • For quick-release button designs (such as those found in Jinshukang, Anshubao, and other models), simply press the button to unlock it. The frame can then be folded into a flat shape measuring 70×40 cm for easy transport.
  2. Removing Hoses
    • The exhaust pipe or splash-proof hose at the back is secured with a plastic retaining ring. Use a flat-head screwdriver to gently pry open the retaining ring at the connection point, loosen it, and then pull the hose straight up. Be careful not to apply excessive force to avoid breaking the hose.
  3. Separating Seat Components
    • Flip up the toilet seat and observe the hinge area. Use needle-nose pliers to grip both ends of the metal shaft and slowly pull it outward, while keeping the rubber shock-absorbing pad safe (to prevent loss, which could lead to an unstable seat installation).
    • For toilets used by the elderly, it is recommended to soak the screw holes in a 1:50 diluted bleach solution for 20 minutes to thoroughly remove residual dirt and prevent odors.

III. Special Materials and Subsequent Handling

  1. Material Classification and Recycling: Some newer models use a combination of eco-friendly PP material and ABS engineering plastic. After disassembly, classify the components by material type and place them in designated community plastic recycling bins to promote resource recycling.
  2. Models That Cannot Be Disassembled: If encountering a model with a complex structure or one that cannot be manually disassembled, check the production number stamped on the bottom of the toilet and contact the manufacturer for technical support. Most companies offer free on-site recycling services to avoid damage caused by improper handling.

Precautions: Wear gloves during disassembly to avoid direct contact with waste; if components are severely aged (such as broken snap fasteners or cracked hoses), it is recommended to replace them with new parts rather than forcing disassembly to ensure subsequent use safety.
