Among them, there is a dry latrine built in the 1960s in Group 2 of Xinpi Village, Shange Town, with poor sanitary conditions. After consultations among the Pinghe County Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau, the Shange Town People's Government, and the council of Group 2 of Xinpi Village, corresponding measures were taken. First, cleaners were organized to clean the public toilets, and then the dry latrines were closed and temporarily suspended from use. Moreover, a short-term renovation plan was formulated, that is, to renovate this public toilet (dry latrine) into a water-flushing public toilet and open it to the public after the renovation is completed.
