Personal Portable Toilet

Admin 20 de septiembre de 2026

A personal portable toilet is a single-person mobile restroom, and some products can be customized as needed. It is a facility that can be moved as a whole and provides restroom services to the public.

Suitable Places

Personal portable toilets are suitable for a variety of places, including stations, docks, tourist attractions, villa areas, newly built residential communities, large construction sites, squares, as well as densely populated public places and bustling commercial streets. These places often require flexible and convenient restroom solutions due to high foot traffic, high costs of building fixed toilets, or limited space. Personal portable toilets precisely meet this need.

Composition Structure

A personal portable toilet generally consists of multiple parts. The fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device) is used to collect and treat excreta; the floor provides a stable standing and moving space; sanitary ware such as toilets or squat pans are the core restroom equipment; walls serve to enclose and protect privacy; washing equipment facilitates user cleaning; a water tank supplies water for flushing; the roof shields against wind and rain; and the mobile device enables the toilet to be moved as a whole.

Classification Methods

  • By structural form: They can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. The single-structure type is relatively simple and independent, while the composite-structure type may be composed of multiple parts and has more complex functions.
  • By moving method: There are lifting and handling-type mobile toilets, which are usually smaller in size and lighter in weight, facilitating manual or simple mechanical handling; and powered and towed-type mobile toilets, which can be moved using power sources such as vehicles and are suitable for long-distance or frequent moving scenarios.
  • By sewage treatment method: They are classified into water-flushing and waterless suction-type mobile toilets. Water-flushing types have better cleaning effects but require a water source; circulating water-flushing mobile toilets can recycle water, saving water resources; and dry-packing mobile toilets do not require water and pack excreta for treatment, making them suitable for water-scarce areas.

Material Types

Personal portable toilets are made of a wide range of materials, including color-coated steel, plastic, fiberglass-reinforced plastic, stainless steel, anti-corrosion wood, steel plates, steel structures, composite panels, ceramics, aluminum alloys, and aluminum-plastic panels. Different materials have different characteristics. For example, color-coated steel is lightweight and durable, stainless steel has good anti-corrosion properties, and fiberglass-reinforced plastic has high strength and is corrosion-resistant. Selection can be made according to the usage environment and requirements.
