Outdoor Portable Toilet Assembly Guide

Admin 02 de octubre de 2026

The assembly guide for outdoor portable toilets varies depending on the type. Here are the assembly methods for several common types:

General Portable Toilet Assembly

  1. Tool Preparation: After receiving the goods, prepare tools such as an electric drill, a 4.2-millimeter drill bit, and a rivet gun.
  2. Corner Installation: Install the corners one by one to ensure a stable structure.
  3. Panel Assembly: Insert the panels into the slots and align them. After alignment, use the drill to make holes, insert rivets, and secure them with a rivet gun to ensure tight connections between components.

On-site Installation of Portable Toilets for Construction Sites

  1. Pre-installation Preparation:
    • Site Survey: Determine the installation location in advance, ensuring the ground is flat and solid, away from the main construction road and pollution sources. It is generally recommended to be more than 1.5 meters from the edge of the foundation pit.
    • Material Verification: Check if the container is intact and if all accessories (such as door locks, flush valves, and sewage pipes) are complete. Contact the supplier for replacement if any damage is found.
    • Foundation Treatment: According to the toilet type (single or connected), clear ground debris and lay a gravel or concrete foundation to ensure the load-bearing capacity meets the requirements (a single toilet generally requires a load-bearing capacity of ≥200kg/㎡).
  2. On-site Installation Steps:
    • Container Positioning: Use a forklift or crane to lift the toilet body smoothly to the designated position, keeping it level. Unified command is required when multiple people cooperate.
    • Drainage Connection: Connect the sewage pipe to the construction site drainage system or temporary collection pit. Seal the interface with sealing tape or cement, and it is recommended to install an anti-overflow valve.
    • Flush System Debugging: Connect to the water source (tap water or a dedicated water tank), test if the flush function is normal, and check if the drainage pipe is unobstructed.
    • Internal and External Inspection: After installation, open the door to check if the internal facilities are secure (such as washbasins, hooks, and toilet paper holders), and check the external container for airtightness to ensure no water leakage or air leakage.

Assembly of a Self-made Water Storage Tank Portable Toilet

  1. Bottom Treatment: Fix universal wheels at the four corners of the bottom of the pallet with tools, place the water storage tank, and use an angle grinder to cut along the top marking line to form an open-top tank.
  2. Tank Stacking: Stack two open-top water storage tanks upside down, fix the outer frame with self-tapping screws, and cut out a rectangular opening to form a doorway.
  3. Internal Installation: Make a hole in the ground inside the water storage tank, insert an elbow and connect a water pipe, seal the gaps with glue, and cut off the excess water pipe. Place the toilet bowl aligned with the drainage hole and fix it with glue around the toilet bowl.
  4. Facility Installation: Fix the water pipe at the wall buckle and install a faucet, fix a pipe cap with screws at the bottom, connect the water pipe, and make a hole as the drainage pipe outlet. Make a hole in the pipe cap, apply glass glue, and fix a washbasin made of a stainless steel basin. Connect the water inlet pipe to the toilet tank, connect the shower hose, install the shower bracket and toilet seat, and install a spray-type shower made of a water pipe.
  5. Door Installation: Bring a wooden board, fix hinges on the water storage tank frame, fix the other side to the wooden box to form a door, and then install a door handle.
