What Types of Outdoor Mobile Toilets Are There

Admin 05 de octubre de 2026

Outdoor mobile toilets mainly include various types, which differ in classification criteria and characteristics.

In terms of structural form, outdoor mobile toilets can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. Single-structure mobile toilets usually have a relatively simple structure and strong integrity. They are generally composed of a single independent unit and are suitable for places with relatively small spaces and low demand for the number of toilets, such as some small outdoor event venues. Composite-structure mobile toilets are composed of multiple units. The number and layout of toilets can be flexibly adjusted according to actual needs, meeting the usage requirements of large-scale outdoor events or crowded places, such as large music festivals and sports event venues.

According to the method of movement, there are hoisting and handling mobile toilets and powered and towed mobile toilets. Hoisting and handling mobile toilets mainly rely on lifting equipment for hoisting and handling. Their movement is relatively flexible, but they require professional lifting tools and personnel for operation, suitable for places that do not have high requirements for movement frequency but need to change positions regularly. Powered and towed mobile toilets either have their own power devices or can be towed by vehicles. This type of mobile toilet is more convenient to move and can quickly be transferred from one place to another. It is often used in construction sites and temporary exhibitions that require frequent movement.

Based on the sewage treatment method, outdoor mobile toilets can be divided into flush and non-flush suction mobile toilets, circulating flush mobile toilets, and dry-packing mobile toilets. Flush and non-flush suction mobile toilets handle fecal sewage through flushing or suction, keeping the interior of the toilet relatively clean, but requiring regular cleaning of the sewage storage tank. Circulating flush mobile toilets recycle and treat sewage before using it for flushing, saving water resources and being suitable for areas with relatively scarce water resources. Dry-packing mobile toilets pack feces with biodegradable packaging bags, requiring no water, being easy to handle, and having a relatively small impact on the environment. They are often used in places with high environmental protection requirements and a lack of water sources, such as deserts and mountainous areas.
