Production Process of Outdoor Mobile Toilets

Admin 17 de octubre de 2026

The production process of outdoor mobile toilets mainly includes three methods: modification using plastic buckets, construction using water storage tanks and pallets, and factory-standardized production.

Modification Using Plastic Buckets

First, install four universal wheels at the corners of a wooden board. Use wooden strips to fix and trim the front surface of the board. Wrap the cut edges with wooden strips to form a door frame structure, and insert aluminum sheets to increase the height of the frame for separation. Cover the top with the cut neck portion. Paint the wooden strips on the inner wall with white cement for beautification. Assemble and make the door panel, and fix it to the door frame with butt hinges. Drill circular holes in the bottom of the inner bucket, install elbows and floor drains, place the plastic bucket with threaded reducers (after drilling holes) into the reserved opening on the top cover, assemble and connect three-way straight pipes and elbows to form a '日' shape, install valve switches in the middle, drill holes to connect the water outlet, install valve switches and three-way pipes to connect to the bucket, insert screws to fix the clips, place the showerhead, assemble and connect the toilet tank, and fill the edge gaps with adhesive for sealing. Connect the outdoor sewer pipe to the septic tank, install the connecting elbow water pipe and support screws on the door, cut the water bucket from the neck position, and wrap the cut edges with a hose.

Construction Using Water Storage Tanks and Pallets

Fix universal wheels at the four corners of a plastic pallet. Place a water storage tank retrieved from a garbage station on the pallet. Use an angle grinder to cut along the marked line on the top of the tank to remove the top, creating an open tank. Invert another open-top water storage tank and stack it on the first tank, securing the outer frame with self-tapping screws. Cut the outer frame and body of the water storage tank to form a doorway. Drill a hole in the floor inside the tank, insert an elbow from the bottom upwards, cut a section of water pipe, and seal the gap with glue. Cut off the excess water pipe, align the toilet with the drainage hole, and secure it with glue. Fix the water pipe on the wall clips and install a faucet. Secure a pipe cap with screws below the faucet, connect a water pipe to the cap, and create an opening as the drainage pipe outlet. Apply glass glue to the cap, fix a stainless steel basin as a sink, connect the toilet tank to the water inlet pipe, connect the shower hose, install the shower bracket and toilet seat, make a spray-type showerhead with a water pipe and install it, bring in a wooden board, fix hinges on the frame of the water storage tank, and fix the other side of the hinges to the wooden box to form the toilet door. Install a door handle on the door.

Factory Production Process of Outdoor Mobile Toilets

First, conduct overall structural design based on the usage scenario. For example, construction site toilets require stronger wind resistance, while music festival toilets focus more on appearance and mobility. A standard mobile toilet usually consists of a base, walls, a roof, and a door, with internal components including a toilet pit, a fecal storage tank, a flushing system (or dry system), and a ventilation device. The components are designed in a modular fashion for quick assembly and disassembly. Next, select manufacturing materials. The outer shell is mostly made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) or fiberglass-reinforced plastic. Different materials are chosen according to the climatic conditions of the target market, with insulation layers added in cold regions. The floor is designed with anti-slip features and thickened. Finally, in the production workshop, plastic pellets are processed into large components such as walls and roofs through blow molding or injection molding processes. Then, assembly is carried out, including the installation of door locks, ventilation windows, flush buttons, and internal accessories. After that, sealing tests, flushing function tests, and appearance inspections are conducted. Qualified finished products are packaged and loaded onto transport vehicles using forklifts.
