Outdoor Mobile Toilet

Admin 22 de septiembre de 2026

An outdoor mobile toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole and placed in fixed or temporary locations to provide public restroom services.

Suitable Locations: It is suitable for stations, docks, tourist attractions, villa areas, newly built residential communities, large construction sites, squares, densely populated public places, and bustling commercial streets. These locations have high foot traffic and a greater demand for sanitation facilities. Additionally, they may require flexible deployment of toilet facilities due to space constraints or temporary events.

Component Structure: It generally consists of a fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device), flooring, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tanks, roofs, and mobile devices. These components work together to ensure the normal use and convenient mobility of the toilet.

Material Development: Initially, it was made of wood, with a simple structure and function, and was prone to absorbing odors. Later, it gradually evolved to use materials such as fiberglass-reinforced plastic and polyethylene, which offer better durability, corrosion resistance, and ease of cleaning.

Classification Methods:

  • By structural form: It can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. Single-structure mobile toilets are relatively independent and suitable for small-scale use; composite-structure mobile toilets are composed of multiple single units and can meet larger-scale demands.
  • By mobility method: It can be divided into lifting and handling mobile toilets, and powered and towed mobile toilets. Lifting and handling mobile toilets rely on external equipment for movement; powered and towed mobile toilets have autonomous mobility capabilities, making them more flexible and convenient.
  • By sewage treatment method: It can be divided into water-flush and non-water-flush suction mobile toilets, circulating water-flush mobile toilets, and dry-packing mobile toilets. Different sewage treatment methods are suitable for different environments and needs. For example, water-flush toilets are suitable for locations with a water source, while dry-packing toilets are suitable for water-scarce or temporary use locations.

Design Principles: The design should adhere to the principles of mobility and convenience, economic durability, environmental protection and ecology, and enhancing efficiency and promoting humanity. The overall structure should consider lightness, using lightweight and durable materials as much as possible. The structure should be sturdy, and the height and width of the toilet should be controlled. The mobile device should be complete and reasonable.
