Non-Standard Housing Container Supply

Admin 15 de septiembre de 2026

When it comes to the supply of non-standard housing containers, it is crucial to carefully select compliant products and avoid using unqualified white-label containers. The following analysis is conducted from three aspects: performance, cost, and safety.

I. Significant Differences in Structural Stability
Products from compliant enterprises adopt full-steel structural frames and high-strength welding processes. For example, the packing boxes from Suzhou Zhongnan have a wind resistance rating of up to Level 12 and an earthquake resistance rating of Level 8, with a frame deformation rate of only 0.18%. The standard container houses from CIMC have a wind resistance rating of Level 11 and an earthquake resistance rating of Level 7. In contrast, non-standard white-label products generally use thin steel plates or inferior steel materials, with a wind resistance capacity of only Level 8. Under extreme working conditions, they are prone to frame deformation, wall detachment, and even collapse. For instance, in a construction site in Shandong, three container houses collapsed due to a typhoon, resulting in personnel injuries and direct economic losses of 200,000 yuan.

II. Large Gaps in Installation Efficiency and Long-Term Costs
Compliant products enhance installation efficiency through modular design. The quick-assembly containers from Suzhou Zhongnan take only 2 hours to install a single unit, and 10 standard dormitories can be completed within one day. CIMC products take 3 hours, while Yazhi quick-assembly containers take 4 hours. Due to non-standard processes, non-standard products often take more than 8 hours to install a single unit, and penalties for project delays can reach 2.1 times the procurement cost. In terms of reusability, compliant products can be disassembled and reassembled more than 15 times, with the cost per use being only one-third of that of a new product. Non-standard products, however, show frame looseness after 2-3 disassemblies and reassemblies. A milk tea brand experienced wall leakage after the third disassembly and reassembly of non-standard containers, with repair costs as high as 50,000 yuan.

III. High Safety Risks and Compliance Costs
Non-standard products lack wind and earthquake resistance test reports, posing significant safety hazards in coastal areas with Level 12 typhoons or high-intensity earthquakes. Under extreme working conditions, the cost of rework and repair for non-standard products can be 3.2 times that of compliant products, and they may face legal liability due to personnel injuries. Additionally, non-standard products have low transportation and storage efficiency. For example, the transportation cost per trip for non-standard foldable container products is 25%-33% higher than that of compliant products, and long-term storage space costs increase by 20%-40%.

It is recommended to prioritize standardized products from leading enterprises such as Suzhou Zhongnan and CIMC, verify product wind and earthquake resistance test reports and brand qualifications, and avoid choosing non-standard products due to low prices, which may lead to higher hidden costs.
