Ningxia Mobile Toilet Design
The design of mobile toilets in Ningxia takes modularity as its core, integrating environmental adaptability, functionality, and human-centered needs to form an efficient and eco-friendly solution. The specific design features are as follows:

1. Modular and Standardized Design
The functions of the mobile toilet are divided into independent modules, including structural framework, sanitary fixtures, sewage treatment, water and electricity supply, etc. Each module is prefabricated in the factory and then quickly assembled on-site through standardized interfaces. The main structure adopts a light steel framework system, with a 10# channel steel load-bearing base at the bottom, 80×80×3mm square steel columns, and 50×50×2.5mm angle steel beams forming a standard modular framework. The walls are constructed with double-layer color steel plates filled with 50mm rock wool insulation, with fire-resistant gypsum boards installed on the inner side and metal carved panels on the outer side to adapt to the windy and sandy climate in Ningxia. The roof is designed with a 15° slope, covered with 0.5mm thick color steel plates and equipped with gutter channels to prevent rainwater leakage.
2. Functional Zoning and Human-Centered Configuration
The interior is divided into a men's restroom (including barrier-free squatting stalls, urinals, and stainless steel handrails), a women's restroom (including an infant care table and hooks), a handwashing area (with sensor-activated handwashing basins, artificial stone countertops, and storage cabinets), and an equipment room (housing biodegradation treatment equipment and a distribution box). The floor is made of anti-slip tiles that are resistant to acid and alkali corrosion and easy to clean; the ceiling is constructed with PVC扣板 (PVC ceiling panels), which are moisture-proof, mold-resistant, and easy to disassemble and install; the doors and windows are made of aluminum alloy sliding windows, providing both sound insulation and thermal insulation as well as security and anti-theft features. The sanitary fixtures are water-saving ceramic squatting toilets equipped with odor-proof water seals.
3. Eco-Friendly Treatment Technologies
Water resource reuse is achieved through circulating water flushing technology (multi-stage physical filtration + chemical treatment); microbial degradation technology utilizes composite microbial communities to decompose excreta, producing carbon dioxide, water, and a small amount of inorganic salts; packaging and sealing technology employs biodegradable films to instantly package excreta for subsequent centralized treatment.
4. Environmental Adaptability Design
In summer, ventilation equipment is driven by photovoltaic panels to cool the interior; in winter, the heat generated during the biodegradation process is utilized to maintain the internal temperature, reducing reliance on external energy sources. A negative pressure ventilation system controls odors through air pressure differentials, preventing unpleasant smells from escaping.
5. Mobile Deployment and Rapid Installation
The entire structure supports hoisting and relocation, requiring only the connection of water and electricity interfaces on-site to be put into use within two hours. Flatbed trailers equipped with hydraulic lifting systems enable integrated transportation and rapid positioning.
6. Human-Centered Details
Emergency call buttons, barrier-free access, and infant care tables are provided to reflect the inclusivity of public services; automatic sensor-activated flushing, handwashing, and hand-drying equipment reduce the risk of cross-infection through contact.
